As if the scratches attained during the wrestling match that ensues when you try to put your cat in a carrier is not enough, you have to deal with unlimited hissing and howling as you drive to the clinic. Then comes the long queue as you wait for your turn in the lobby.

This is my cat, Yuna. She hates the carrier. The last time we had to bring her to the vet, she fought with us and cried the entire time she was in the carrier. My boyfriend and I are moving to a new state in 14 days and were stressing out over getting the cats there and the carrier situation. So we brought the carriers up a few days ago, sprayed them with liquid cat nip, and put a towel in each. As you can see Yuna is chilling in the carrier. She was asleep until I sat down to get the photo. That's the easiest way to get your cats used to the carrier. I know this isn't ground breaking news or anything, but this might help others.
