Ah, here's someone she knows, or has at least spoken with briefly. She may not know Sapphire very well, but she feels a kinship in her loneliness, missing a part of herself that was completely out of her reach. Hopefully it is not tugging particularly hard at her heart today.

"Good morning," Gwyndolin greets the gem, not checking to see if it was actually morning and instead trusting her shaky sense of time. "You've been in the city longer than I have, so I thought I might ask your opinion on a few things... Are you doing well, by the way? It's been some time since we've seen each other."

Junpei liked to think that he’d seen a lot so far in his rather short life, however a small and entirely blue person wasn’t anywhere on the list of strange things he’d encountered. He found himself staring and blinking a good few times- she reminded him of a smurf, just without the hat and with a fancier dress.

“Uhh.... hello?”

Curious as he was, he really hoped she didn’t start saying smurf every five seconds. It got irritating.

“Sapphire.” Her voice is hushed, the fabric draped over her figure swaying gently with the SLOW turn she makes to face the other despite covered eyes. A pause lingers in the air between them as she watches her in a moment of silence, the palm of her hand easily looming over the other as she gestures between words. “The last I recalled, your duty was to report to me unforeseen events ; I wonder why it is that I had not been contacted by any regarding this strange change in scenery.”

The prior confusion that painted all too obviously across her features is INTERRUPTING by a familiar figure, replaced by the biting tone that snaps at the end of each MELLOW syllable she speaks, betrayed the soothing blue that colors her. She was never one to be sharp- that was YELLOW’S preferred method of barking- rather, the calm exchange of words was the route she treaded now RATTLED by the abrupt kidnapping from Homeworld.

“Would you like to explain yourself?”

It was a rainy day when Hide saw the blue girl. The sight of her caught him by surprise but he didn’t really feel the need to ask questions. He’d been dumped into a strange city, after all. He didn’t doubt that he would be seeing lots of things here much stranger than man-eating ghouls.

In any case, the girl was running through the rain unprotected. Hide glanced up at his umbrella and decided it didn’t matter if it was too small for two people. He ran to catch up with her, and caught her by the wrist, holding out the umbrella.

“Um, hey!” he said. “I thought you might need this... And, wow, your skin is really cold! Here, take my jacket too! A pretty lady can’t run around in the rain without some protection.” He started to pull his jacket off.

After being with the crystal gems for few years and being around Pearl peridot sees that homeworld is corrupt and earth is a sort of beacon of freedom for every gem willing to take the freedom they are owed As a member of the crystal gems peridot mainly works around the temple adding modern homeworld tech to upgrade the temple in many ways one way she wants to improve the defense of the temple is to add laser turrets along the temple statue and to hollow out the eyes for hidden energy rocket launchers that seek out homeworld ship energy signature but garnet won’t allow her to do so despite all the arguments they have over it nowadays in the summer peridot works on project with pearl keeping it a secret from others the project being trying to restore some of the old era 1 ruins to working condition “Blast it this energy amplifier is burned out and to old to work I may need to scout the prime or beta kindergarten for more parts to fix this infernal machines cooling system Pearl or anybody come here and help me maybe bring me the engine from Greg’s van I will replace it with a modified microwave should run just as fine Hello anyone coming  Blood stars I really want to at least finish up this machine a little more and sneak back into the temple and hook up some rocket turrets along the arms and head would be easy “but no to dangerous” the towering gem garnet says Why can’t she just let me hook up small ones! Things were a bit easier on homeworld sapphires had their place as aristocratic gems and peridots like me acted as engineers or tech archivists under blue diamond I wonder if my old office and workshop in the Data Archives Hub is being occupied by someone else now well no matter" Peridot bends over to tighten few bolts leaving her limb enhancers in storage unit behind the machine ( @calmgem )

"Peridot? Are you in there?" She knocked lightly on the barn door, her eye roaming over all of the strange decorations.

Peridot perked up from her tablet, placing it down as she scrambled up and headed towards the barn door. Peeking out, her eyes fell upon the small blue gem.

“Sapphire?” Peridot’s eyes widened, and she took a step back, “Wh-What’s going on?? Where’s Ruby??”
