Me remplazaron
Me usaron

chain reaction | cambie & clove
@cambieandrews
{Between fate and karma, Clove can’t quite decide whom he owes thanks to for his current situation. There’s a delicious irony to it and he supposes, in some regard, it must be the cosmos paying him back for everything that’s been going on. Whether or not it’s well deserved is arguable; Clove doesn’t think it is. If what they’re doing really is so bad then surely the disrupted sleep and constant tension wherever her goes should serve as punishment enough. As the hour stretches out it becomes evident, however, that Cambie does not share in this perspective.
The first blow she lands, Clove chalks up to bad luck on his end. He’d stepped too far out, exposed knee presenting an easy target for her foot. His back hits the grass with enough force to knock the air clean out of his lungs, and it takes a look at her triumphant smile to motivate him to get up and try again. Unfortunately for Clove, Cambie also doesn’t share in his preference for more casual training. The second hit lands square in his chest and the third just above his shoulder, both strategically placed and delivered with enough force to send him sprawling back onto the floor.
It’s frustrating and demeaning and he’s just glad they’re more or less alone in the training rink. For people to watch Cambie in the process of, for lack of better working, kicking his ass, is the last thing he needs.
The fourth time she attacks, Clove manages to land a hit to her arm, but the consequences of leaving his upper body unprotected are another point to Cambie and Clove back on the grass, thoroughly disgruntled.} Time- time out. Time out.
{Clove tries to make himself feel a bit better by reminding his aching body that Cambie’s dancing career inevitably gives her the advantage, but it doesn’t do much to patch up his bruised ego. Asking her to train together had been a fundamentally bad idea, but after the tension of their last conversation, Clove had figured it might be a good way for them to clear the air.
Clearly, in Cambie’s mind, his attempt at a peace offering had translated into an invitation to get revenge.}
Are you having fun?
