Hi there! I've had so many lovely new followers lately, I thought I'd do an introductory post. I'm Martha, the stitcher behind Camelopard Crafts. My shop has taken a bit of a back seat for a while, but I love stitching & am full of new ideas, plus there's always more skulls to photograph, so who knows what the future will bring. I learned to embroider as a kid from my grandmother & to knit as a kid from my great-aunt, & am eternally grateful to both women for these crafty abilities. I'm raising two boys with my wonderful husband, staying home with them & doing lots of "typical" mom stuff like PTO. I'm also an anatomist, hence the skull embroidery, & I stay close to science by volunteering in the Zoology lab at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. In addition to two boys, we have two cats, a dog, a fish, & lots of gardens to look after. The photos are from our 2nd pool visit of summer break yesterday afternoon. My sunburnt self (I promise those shoulders were bright pink later last evening) & one of my current projects, a rose patch, atop my mobile tool kit. What about you all? Do you craft?
