Well the way I imagine this ship is that Freyja would fully embrace “Freyja” as her one true self and completely sever her past. It’s painful but also the only way she can truly feel like she has a place.

while charlotte tries her best to be supportive of Camilla, so much of Camilla’s past is so terrible and from a completely different world from Charlotte that it’s difficult to talk her through the specifics. The same dynamic is in play in reverse. They just come from very different worlds.
