This was a Snapchat video (obviously) last January on our way to Paranaque. It’s been so long since I went/passed here on my birthplace (Makati) so I just had to record it. There’s just something in some place that makes you feel like home. It automatically calls you even when you’re sleeping.

Jan 14, 2015: I finally ticked off one of my bucketlist!

As a part of their 37th Foundation Day celebration, I was given the chance to participate in one of DCA's programs; mainly the Singing Contest - not as an audience or a photog, but as a judge! Well I wasn’t actually the first choice. 

Ezra was supposed to be in my place, I just became her proxy. She said she had to go to her college for their midterm activity-which will be her grade for her midterm exam. Thank God I arrived just as when it was about to start! I really didn’t know what time will it start until Ma’am Yhet texted me (it was embarrassing because she already texted me the night before but that phone was off; it’s not functioning properly) on my other number. It was already 7 when I learned that it will start by 7:30! But I dreamt that it will start at 9, which really happened. Yey! 

 It was my first time to visit my alma mater this year and knowing that my batchmates weren’t there is kind of sad but we just have to go with the flow. Being a judge is not easy I must say. Well I admit I dreamt to experience this too, but now that I know how it feels, I guess I’ll just stick to taking photos and judging by myself. Hehe 😆 

 You see it wouldn’t be too hard if the contestants weren’t great, after all. These children were so talented and their voice is better than mine! They all have this thing that makes me envious: confidence. At such a young age they were able to stand and perform in front of a crowd. Wow. Just wow. I am still working my ass on that matter but them… They really inspired me at that part. 

My heart is overwhelmed that it made me blog about this and share it with you guys. I am so proud of these students and I am looking forward on how they will effortlessly impress the world when they go out of DCA. As for me, I thank God He made me witness this! 😄
