Max felt good. He felt really good. Finally, all of his problems were just- gone! And now he could help others feel the same way! A wide grin split his face and he snuggled happily into the new, white hoodie Daniel had given him. Who should he save first?
He wandered through the woods, heading for the main camp. When he emerged from the trees, the first person he saw was- David. He was kneeling down, talking to Nerris about something. Max watched as they talked, and then Nerris smiled and ran off. David straightened up, looking around, presumably for someone else to help. Max shook his head. David had such good intentions, but he was going about it all wrong! He could show him the light, show him how to really help his campers.
He walked over quickly, before David could move on. Stopping in front of the camp counselor, he cleared his throat quickly to get David’s attention, then grinned and said, “Morning, David!”
