Daniel raised his eyebrow at that, his smile fading somewhat. It wasn’t that he was upset but the comment about Jasper’s family got him thinking. He didn’t know much about Jasper’s family. And hell for all he knew, his parents were also in the cult.

👻Jasper was now officially awake, he looked over at the other; worry evident in his eyes. He moved slightly to get up, shifting as he got off the other side of the bed so he didn’t freak Daniel anymore then he already was. He had dealt with the other when he was like this before... so he knew what to do which was give Daniel his space for now.

👻Jasper had always been a light sleeper, which was unfortunate growing up in a house with six siblings. So when he felt Daniel’s grip become tighter- he slowly woke up with a low groan, rubbing his eyes with his free hand. His arm still loosely wrapped around the other as he blearily looked towards the blond.

“Daniel... is everything alright...?”

  His hand was shaking as he held the phone. One person from Camp Campbell was willing to talk to him. A co-counselor he barely remembered. It had been a year and he couldn’t fathom the possibility he might be forgiven for his actions.

  Forcing his cheery tone, he spoke clearly, “Jasper! Gosh, it’s been an awful long time, hasn’t it? How’ve you been?”

  He hoped this wouldn’t go sour for him. He just wanted to make amends and move on with his life.

He had a few files open in front of him on a desk which contained a list of contacts as well as their contact information. He was lucky that the other hadn’t changed their number since he knew their files hadn’t been updated in sometime.

“Well Howdy Daniel, Ay’m glad ay was able to catch ya. Ay’m doing swell actually, things have been quite busy here. Ay’m lucky ay was able to get a minute so ay could call ye back.”

as for you, the mun: is daniel your favorite camp camp character? aside from him, what characters do you really like? what camp camp ships do you prefer?

{ He is!! I enjoy working with him and writing him because he’s such a flexible character. He’s also deeply fascinating to me on a psychological/sociological level. Aside from him, I love David, Nerris, Nikki, Space Kid, and Neil!

As for ships, I love Danvid. I also enjoy some JaspDan, if Jasper survived and became a counselor. I don’t really ship the campers, since I don’t feel like there’s a lot to go on there for shipping material. I have some OC/canon ships though, based in several projects I’ve worked on! }
