This Brussels Sprouts Salad with Candied Bacon is a delightful combination of savory and sweet flavors. Thinly sliced Brussels sprouts are paired with crispy bacon coated in candied pecans, dried cranberries, and Parmesan cheese. The balsamic vinaigrette dressing adds a tangy kick to this delicious salad.
Ingredients: 12 oz Brussels sprouts, trimmed and thinly sliced. 6 slices bacon. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup pecans, chopped. 1/4 cup dried cranberries. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a pan over medium heat, cook bacon until it's crispy. Take it off and let it cool. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and pecans while the bacon cools. Mix the brown sugar and pecans together, and then dip each slice of bacon into it. Set the bacon aside to cool.
