The Miami Court Motel is abandoned in Candler, North Carolina.
The oldest postcards I can find are the first two pictured. They're linen and likely from the 1940s. The first shows a tropical scene with palm trees and a vintage Florida hotel in the background - while second shows a much more realistic view of a North Carolina motel.
I wonder how many people saw the first postcard and showed up to the Miami Court expecting a Miami scene just to find it surrounded by red cedars and pine trees.
