Finn & Jake Return to Your TV (and Ooo!) this April
When we last saw our Adventure Time heroes, it was in the January 2017 miniseries Islands. Now Adventure Time is back on Cartoon Network for its next episode, “The Orb,” on Friday, April 21 at 7:45 p.m., Deadline reports.
“The Orb” will set up everything needed for the series’ third miniseries — Adventure Time: Elements, whose eight episodes air the following week: April 24-27 at 7:30 p.m.
In classic Adventure Time fashion, Elements will have its own intro animation (above), much like Islands, Stakes and the gender-bent Fionna & Cake episodes had twists on the original intro theme.
Elements is reported to cover the drastic changes in Ooo that the ice elemental Patience St. Pim sparked since season seven’s episode “Elemental” last May.

More troubling, what is Patience St. Pim planning by orchestrating the entire thing? “Jelly Beans Have Power” was a great episode to end on before we transition into the “Islands” miniseries.
