(8) What part of your f/o's story felt like it was missing something that your s/i was able to fill?

honestly just having someone there for him that treats him like a normal person ... his canon consists of him either being viewed as this untouchable mega superstar, a rival, some sort of rolemodel, an authoritative figure, or in the league's case, their greatest asset. it isnt explored deeply in canon, but they do make a point to mention multiple times that he masks his emotions (mentioned during opal's gym mission, and in twilight wings, for example) and so i like that i am someone that he can just be himself around and take a load off since i dont see him as my rival or a celebrity he's just some guy i ran into one day without really knowing the extent of who he was. obv i come to learn all that, but it doesnt change how i view him or treat him. he's my friend first and foremost..

(10) What canon event your f/o was involved in would have gone differently if your s/i had been there? (positive or negative)

hmmm i havent interjected myself into anything that happens with him ingame tbh because while he's got canon stuff going on, im also off doing my own thing offscreen ... a lot of it is "i just wouldnt have been there", but even if i was, im not sure things wouldve changed much as a result, or rather.. he is very headstrong and will run into situations for the sake of helping others, and so who am i to stop him, yknow? im not sure "please be careful" can hold so much weight. all i can do is dutifully support him from the sidelines as a loyal knight should, and for what comes of his heroicisms...idk. flick him for putting my prince in danger because god forbid anything happen to him.

(16) FREE REIGN - Infodump about your f/o's lore, your selfship lore, or literally anything related!!

aauuuuu hmm... i usually default to talking about our relationship while we're still in the.. close affectionate friends pining stage, so ill go the flipside and ramble a bit about the future.. cus way past the canon we know about (which i suppose is always subject to change, as they can just randomly add onto leon's lore at any time-), once we get married and "settle down" n stuff (in quotation marks because we never really stop and relax LOL), its a cozy life indeed. well. as far as cozy can go for us. leon's goal of always helping others become stronger forever reigns true as he teaches the next generation, and i largely take a step back from any league related happenings to focus on the home we make for ourselves, caring for young trainers and being a family unit for them (we become mustard and honey's successors!).. and so that in turn takes us down the path of wanting to have kids of our own, who we raise alongside our students at the dojo. im always too shy to talk much about our kids, but id like to come out of my shell more. our eldest daughter ended up being an absolute machine when it comes to battling (takes after her dad-), but doesnt care about competitive so she ends up getting into field research n stuff. our son wishes he got the battle genes, but didnt take to it as naturally and goes off to study it seriously :) idk what else the future holds for us past that point, but the nice thing about a long lasting love is that theres no pressure for finality, we can just kinda keep carving our path. its nice.

have you ever thought of any in-game interactions they'd have with the other party members?

do panchi, noctis and prompto use any pet names for each other? if so, which ones? do they get to go on any dates during the trip :O?

I have thought about interactions between my s/i and Ignis/Gladio! In terms of Dialogue, I don't have anything in particular, i'd need to replay the game ^^" One thing is certain though and that is that both have to be subjected to Panchi's bad puns-

But in terms of dynamics, Panchi really respects Ignis and always calls him by his name instead of "Iggy" because of it. Panchi often helps him out with cooking! ...and trying to persuade Noct to eat his veggies. I'm sure the two have bits of dialogue centered around Noct and his well-being. Noctis aside though, Panchi probably has a few lines of dialogue trying to mimic his accent-afjsnfnd Maybe finding a random ingredient and asking "Hey Ignis! Think you can come up with a new recipe with this?"

As for Gladio, Panchi was kinda intimidated by him at first ngl-agksjfndj He's much bigger and stronger than them so they were pretty nervous. But once Panchi gets to know him better, two also get along pretty well! Gladio absolutely has teased the three of them-afksnf All three have such an obvious crush on each other! How can he not? Also once Panchi realized they've caught Feelings™ for their best friends, Gladio is the first one that Panchi goes to for advice. They've probably learned a pick-up line or two from him and used it on Noct and Prompto-gjdnfjddj

As for petnames for Noct/Prompto/Panchi...Panchi just uses more classic stuff like "Love(s)" and "Dear(s)"! Sometimes they'll call Noct and Prompto "My moon and sun" which I think is pretty sweet! Panchi also likes calling them "My King(s)", they always enjoy seeing how flustered they both get from it (especially if it was before the three got married). For individual ones though, Panchi has always affectionately and playfully refered to Noct as "Prince" since y'know. He's a prince. For Prompto, they sometimes playfully call him a Chocobo-but hey! Chocobos are pretty cute if you ask Panchi! I have a hard time thinking about what Noct and Prompto call Panchi since I get pretty flustered but I do think it'd be cute if they both call Panchi their Star 👉👈

In terms of dates...I guess it depends on which canon we follow? If we follow canon exactly then no bc neither of them are dating (even if they all do have feelings for each other) but the three have wandered on their own a few times either bc Prompto wanted to take a photo or Panchi saw something they wanted to grab or look at for their scrapbook or Noctis saw a perfect finishing spot-okay. Maybe it was more than a few times...But yeah! There is this one time where the three look up at the stars together and get all close..just Guys being Dudes! Just some good ol Bromance! (It was not just a Bromance)

Hmm.. As no specific self-insert was specified, I might just try and answer these from my own perspective, if that’s alright?

🤪: What is your trait that fanon would exaggerate? - I struggle to define my own personality and don’t think that it stays completely consistent despite my best efforts, so I think there would be a habit of latching onto one trait that I display and then making that my only key trait (which is kind of how I create some self-inserts, but it happens quite frequently to more of an extent in some fandoms). For example, portraying me as someone who can be very energetic and is extroverted, because I got excited once - but I’m very much an introvert, even if I can be excitable and enjoy myself a lot when talking about things I like.

🥰: How would someone who loved you portray you? - As clever, sensible, quietly confident, intelligent, logical, respected, able to speak plainly without it being interpreted as uncaring, someone people know not to try and scare or intimidate because it won’t ever work, and gladly accepted by those around me without having to be the same as them to be accepted.

😡: How would someone who hated you portray you? - As selfish, stubborn, dismissive, mean, cold, and unwilling to ever change or do anything for other people. Alternatively, as a pushover with no ability to form opinions or take sides.

7. Who gets you into trouble? And who gets you out of trouble?

Reno. Reno gets me into a lot of trouble. He’s a great friend and all, but... Tseng is pretty good at getting us out of trouble!! He’s our leader for a reason :D!

As for romantic f/os, Maxi is a troublemaker through and through. He tends to get us into some pretty messy situations sometimes, but that’s why Ash is there haha! Genesis can let his emotions cloud his judgement sometimes too, so uh, watch out for stray fireballs. That does happens quite a few times in the game...

Yaag, however, falls under the category of fairly responsible, so he’s also good at getting us out of trouble. He’s quite the important man, so his rank helps a lot as well.

16. Who is more open with their feelings?

For 99% of my f/os, it’s Ash. Ash is both very verbal and physical when it comes down to expressing her feelings.

21. Who’s the better cook?

I don’t trust Reno and Genesis in a kitchen. Like, at all. I think that Maxi is just okay, but he has no interest nor experience in cooking. Felix’s in-game cooking line is, “Cooking? Not that I don’t have experience, but...” So he’s also just alright.

I think Yaag would be a decent cook (also,,, the thought of him cooking,,, 😳), but he doesn’t cook often. He’s usually too busy to cook. Ash, however, casually cooks, so she’s better than pretty much all of them. I’d say they’re at similar levels, but since Ash cooks more often, she’s probably better.

cosmic deity AU: who’s the personification of the sun? who’s the personification of the moon? give one headcanon about you and your f/o’s relationship in this AU!

I’ve always felt a strong connection to the moon, but I think that the moon here would be Yaag. Like the moon, he’s hiding a lot (and all of him shows sometimes too! like how in the game near the end, he reveals his true feelings about his actions), and I just feel like the aesthetic fits him better? He also looks the part. I mean, he already has the whole silvery gray and dark color scheme going on.

Yaag is basically what happens when you take the take the words "stubborn" and "serious" (and "perfect hair") and shove them into a military uniform.

And, since he is the moon, Ash would be the sun. Which I honestly think is fitting because of how her personality is very :DDD compared to his >:(((. He’s usually pretty serious and composed.

Coming up with a headcanon for this AU was really difficult so here's some basic ideas!!!

-Their favorite places on the planet (or to hang out, if we're rolling with the they have human forms idea) is beaches around sunset time. We get to see Ash's sun reflecting off of the water and Yaag's work when it comes down to tides. Also it's really pretty and Ash would totally use it as an excuse to fling water at him to get under his skin!

-Since the sun and moon spend a lot of time apart, they love eclipses because they finally get to be together!

(I was talking to my best friend about headcanons for this au and she mentioned something about the moon rotating and now all I can imagine is Yaag just. rotating and now i can't stop laughing.)

-This goes for pretty much every AU with these two, but you notice that Yaag slowly becomes a bit kinder as she spends more time with her and he really does soften up. It's said that the moon shines just a bit brighter too.
