He was kidnapped from the Bard College of Lucy'ne by a secret fraternity of Whispers Bards, who secretly worship evil gods (such as Jack) and make pacts with powerful otherworldly entities.

Canin was an unfortunate victim of an attempt to turn other students into animals, and he was polymorphed into a wolf by a polymorph potion that would keep one polymorphed for 24 hours. In accordance with my personal canon that I don't think is reflective of anything else besides 1-2 5e spells, if you keep a spell continuously active for 101 days, the effects of the spell become permanant. Luckily the party managed to save Canin from that fate, but not all of the other students were as lucky.

He ended up alright, but he retained a couple of wolfish characteristics such as the hair color, pronounced teeth, and dark circles around his eyes. As a high elf- he traditionally views appearances and their standing in society as very important- he worried that his old friends,also high elves, would judge him for his new unusual appearance, odd habits, as well as for how behind he is in his studies and the challenges that would arise from his reappearance.

But all of those worries ended up for naught, as they ended up tackling him in happiness after realizing he was alright- they just missed their friend. They are real ones.

‘Mansfield’ Container House, Mansfield, High Country, Victoria, Australia,

Due to the nature of the site, the containers are completely off-grid. Solar power is collected from panels on the roof and feed a battery stored in a box at the end of the containers. The containers run on 12-volt power, like a caravan. 

All services are contained within these boxes so the containers can be transported if required. Two 1000L bladder water tanks are concealed under a parasol roof, where rainwater is directed to fill the tanks for use in the containers.
