@vikings-and-dragonflies asked what a croup was. It’s the area of the dog where the top line begins to slope towards the tail. Here’s a nice diagram of dog structural terms:

For a pet dog that has awful structure, I think she looks pretty darn good right now.
She weighed in at 21.2 pounds today when we went to Petsmart, which is down about a pound and a half from her heaviest.
(She learned that if she gets on the scale at Petsmart, she will get a treat. 😅)
Also, check out miss nakey rat after her grooming today.
Have a terrible 13 month Castiel stack. He’s holding together but barely. Hoping his chest drops and his front settles soon.
Look at my beautiful dog
In other news this is the best picture of Sylus I've ever taken in my life. You can actually see his muscle structure and overall structure.
Cuchulainn (Hakuzan no Sekirou Hakuzan Ryousou), who appears overangulated per the NIPPO standard.
Especially at 1&2, in the frontquarters, and then 5&6, in the hindquarters.
Photos by the amazing Jordan Isom (Jordan’s Photography on FB). Castiel going Winners Dog at Great Barrington KC last weekend for 2 points toward his AKC championship. Also check out one of our trainers in the back mentally yelling at me for having bait in my hand while gaiting.
At class with @the-multiverse-and-me and Yanna.
