When to add fertilizer?
This seems to be a frequent question. I hear many growers are afraid to burn their precious plants, and rightfully so. Nutrient burn can cause a crop to fail just as badly as deficiencies can. As a general rule of thumb, take the number of gallons of soil and translate that to months. A seven gallon container of decent quality soil should last your plant roughly 7 months (give or take a little depending on the strain). As long as you pH your water properly and prevent nutrient lockout you don't need as much fertilizer as people who want your money lead you to believe. For more tips follow The Canna Grow Bro. -Peace
