love in the big city was quite literally everything i could have hoped for and more. it truly understood that deep set loneliness that can latch its claws into you and eat you alive, both from the angle of being queer and also just being human and trying desperately to find your place in life. so much of it hit home in a way that left me raw. it did not shy away from the queer experience, and displayed everything in a breathtaking and unapologetic manner. what an incredibly cathartic journey.
