Canon perception:

I know my mum definitely thought i was a handful at some times, but she still loved me, alot of people thought of me as a ‘wild child’ now that i think about it. I mean they werent wrong, but most of the time i was just trying to help my friends or fix a sticky situation. But they most likely didnt have that context, they just saw a girl with blue hair and pronouns being WOKE!!! (/heavyjoke)

When i was a troll though, ahlberg saw me as, well just a troll (i don’t really blame him because i dont think he knew me well enough to recognize me), and to the other trolls, i was something like a ‘strange troll child, huh, must be new’.

canon perceptions?

90% of people loathed me, and honestly, that's for good reason. I stole from a lot of people. Most of my friends had been screwed over at least once: Wally more than once, Murray (though we had more of a weirdly mutually beneficial partnership) a few times too, Carla and Otis and Meathook obviously, Stan (though he also screwed ME over) and honestly everyone else at this point. I also never shut up. Elaine and Winslow were the two outliers who actually liked being around me, and they were my wife and best friend for good reason.

As for my perception of myself: I started out thinking I was a great pirate, but after Big Whoop, I stopped believing in myself. I went after a treasure everyone told me not to, and I ended up locked in a cage and tortured for three months. I did recover some of my confidence, but after Curse ended, I kinda crashed. Hard. I still remember Elaine telling me she'd go find LeChuck and kill him again for what he did to me.

canon perceptions - i am kin with two completely separate characters who were both perceived negatively by those around them due to the acts and performances they were in. one of them was widely thought of as eccentric, the kind who would put you in danger to make an act more “realistic” (and saw myself as very lonely as a result, not wanting to settle down into a friend group until i was sure they understood and welcomed my oddities). for the other kin, they were usually seen as either intimidating and too self-important, or cold-hearted and cruel due to the kind of roles they always played. they even began to resent their co-stars, who were always seen as kinder, sweeter, more worthy of happiness (in contrast to the former, here i was much more confident in myself and believed i did deserve good things… although that confidence would have been worked hard for. i thought i was a fairly good and reasonable person, generally speaking)

canon perceptions ...... ummmm . some people only reduce me to my problems, perpetually forgetful and absentminded. i don't know if it ever had time to really change with anyone other than a handful of people once i figured things out. i DO know that i was seen as extraordinarily talented, prodigal. however i never thought of myself as anything special and i had leagues to go in improvement, and wish i had i gotten the chance. always could have done better. now i see myself as much of a failure with my perspective now, but it's not generally agreed upon. im working on it.

canon perceptions -

i was a guard dog (ironically enough for a dog king. i am not physically a dog)

i saw myself as his loyal guard and his servant. others saw me as a force to be reckoned with, as someone frightening and powerful, and as his attack dog.

but my lord and his people saw me as a friend, a companion, just a silly guy even. a silly billy if you will

i really am just a silly guy at heart ill be honest, you just had to be on the right side to see it

canon perception: how you viewed yourself and/or how others tended to view you?

Like in one of my canons, I didnt see myself as a good person. Sure, Id help people sometimes but overall? I felt like I was just causing more problems by existing.
