BIG NEWS – CONTINUOUS raw recording on Canon 5D Mark III

THEY DID IT. Now 24fps continuous recording is possbile with 5D mark III!!

For now, as they say, there's no official firmware from Magic Lantern which does it but only experimental ones from single users, here is one: https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/commits/54537cb85d7d

So, what I get with RAW on my Mark III?

Well, you got a huge resolution from 1280 x 720 up to 3592 x 1320 (with drops) or FULLHD with no drops, even got the ability to go in 1:1 crop mode (not using full sensor) for more telephoto needs. It has also few anamorphic resolution up to 2:1 to use  with anamorphic lenses to get even better cinema look.

The files is a single RAW file per take which can be converted with this alpha software by Magic Lantern which works only in Windows (shit!! I'm on OSX) to cineDNG RAW 14 bit files and easily graded with Davinci Resolve.

hey yall I'm having some trouble with my camera RAW and my cs5

i've got a t3i (600d) and cs5 (obvs.) and for some reason the photoshop can't read the raw file

anyone know why that might be?
