Wow I just realized I sent that last ask on anon for absolutely no reason (the one about you don’t have to watch a movie if it makes you uncomfy) my brain has decided to not join me today. Anyway, back to your original post about movies with good character/stories that Sebastian is in, I haven’t seen it yet, but The Last Full Measure has been on my list to watch and I’ve heard some good things about it and seems to be liked by the general public, but it doesn’t have great *critic* reviews so idk
i was thinking about that too but i only trust it because sam l. jackson is in it for some reason. again idk i would generally check it out but ive been racking my brain trying to think of good stuff he's done and nothing immediately springs to mind so i guess that's putting me off a lot of his stuff. i adore bucky so much, like so so much, and seb is a lovely human but his movie choices are getting tiring
So I was trying to text my dad but was too lazy so I ended up wasting 5 minutes of my life just trying to get my phone to type prynhawn da. Then spent another 5 minutes testing if siri could understand what I was saying. The answer is obviously NO but the outcome was funny.

Like frost being wiped from a window, his mind began to clear. His eyes refocused, the scenery sharpened. The leaves drifting from the nearby trees were no longer blurred as they skittered along the ground, their edges were defined (even after they fell victim to passers-by and crunched beneath many pairs of boots).
The cool breeze idly sweeping those fragments of orange hues around seemed to be suddenly biting his skin. Funny how much you could endure when your mind was wandering.
And the cold did tend to allow for more wandering than usual. In his case at least.
And wandering was dangerous.
Focus.
He pulled his gaze to the side, and down upon the woman whose voice had rescued him from his unseeing state.
It was hard to say what surprised him most from the words thrown his way.
A scarf? (A present? For him? A practical and well considered one at that!)
He was always cold? (How had she noticed that? Was it that obvious?)
His birthday? (Was it that time of year again already?)
Mary held the gift out, he hesitated only a moment before taking it with a slight bow of his head and the touch of a smile.
“Thank you.”
A scarf. His mind tripped over the thought again. A present.
Who but Frosch (and Mary on previous birthdays) ever gave him presents?
It was strange, a little uncomfortable due to unfamiliarity, but…it was nice. He would have to repay the favour some time soon.
The breeze shifted his hair, icy fingers ruffling the strands and seeming to spread their touch inside his veins too.
He was always cold; she was right about that. Was it something noticeable about him? Or was she observant? In any case, her choice of gift…
“It’s very thoughtful of you.”
Yes, thoughtful. That was equally strange…not that he didn’t think she could be a thoughtful person, but simply to be thought of…yes, that was strange. But again, it was nice.
The little things began to click together.
Mary remembering his birthday. Mary putting thought into a gift. Mary making sure to deliver the gift to him early, just in case she missed out on doing so on the actual day.
“Very thoughtful…” It was repeated softly, under his breath while his eyes seemed quite unable to meet hers for the moment.
The frigid air started to retreat away from his face, a slight flush to his skin causing the change.
Perhaps the scarf wasn’t needed to combat the cold after all (but it would be nice to hide behind it now).
“I appreciate it.”
