So I was rewatching season 1 for the umpteenth time ... and every time I do, it amazes me how obvious it was that Pope KNEW when he went looking for Deran at the surf shop. I think at the time I didn’t pick up on it as much, because that was before Craig’s little speech to him at the party and we were meant to assume nobody knew. Or was I just oblivious and dumb? It wouldn’t be the first time.
