I struggled a bit with some design. I wanted to make an “art” piece, that served no practical function in the room next to the bed. After looking at tons of industrial designs and mimicking plenty, I just realized it wouldn’t work so I gave up for a while.

That was until yesterday when I had a conversation on facetime with Jungeun and I recalled a discussion I previously had this weekend with Alexandre on the attempt to “finitize” infinity.

If By reducing infinity, at least one of its part is still equal to infinity, then it doesnt manage to create a lesser infinity, the infinity preserves its infinity even if divided. So i executed a design based on a map toying with Badiou’s / Canthor’s set theory.

The circle sitting on a circular base reflect the balance, where the empty set sits upon the void and as such infinity will always rise even from the void to a sort of state of equilibrium.

Just ranting about writing a gross relationship in the Fates’ Mistake, move along if you don’t care

I am really nervous about the relationship I am writing for my story. Basically Mitsin, the mage lady I drewed a picture of, is underage and crushes seriously hardcore on an older guy. The older guy is an asswipe and purposefully uses her crush to emotionally abuse and manipulate her, turning her against her friends and causing strife within the group because he’s working for the bad guy.

I want to make it as clearly not-okay as I can within my story (portraying it as abuse by showing her horribly negative feelings of isolation, having her realize afterwards that what he did was wrong and that she is not to blame for any of it, punishing him textually in the end with his worst fear), but I am so worried that future readers would still ship them together and try to excuse his behavior. Since she is so infatuated with him, anything from her POV will be rose-colored until she realizes the deception.

I want to write this because I want to show the dangers and warning signs of an awful relationship, but at the same time it’s nerve-wracking because I’ve seen so many people get the wrong idea about this kind of stuff from other books. :/
