I saw your post about the Armand and Daniel relationship development and they did seed some things that fans of the couple have been picking up since he was revealed as Armand.
That scene you mentioned when Louis is drinking from Armand is heavily inspired by DM and people are rightfully reading into it now that it’s been confirmed Armand loved Daniel. Daniel literally thought “what does Rashid/Armand taste like?” and Louis brings it up to shame or embarrass him. It probably works as both a Loumand sexual dynamic and a DM dynamic (in the book, Armand is in the cuck chair when Daniel has sex with other people because vampires can’t have sex).
And the writers have confirmed in interviews that every interaction between them in Dubai and San Francisco are DM and charged for a reason. And this will all make more sense if Armand reveals in the upcoming episodes that he was messing with Daniel’s memories for the last 50 years.
Are you a fan or a hater of DM because I thought the confession came out of nowhere but it also looks like it blindsided Daniel as well and I expect it to be addressed whenever they are back together?
I don't know what words you're speaking at me. I think the folks calling this a compelling love story are hilarious when the textual evidence reads as at most a sexual fascination and perhaps more evidence of how Armand likes to rewrite history.
I've watched seasons 1 and 2 of Interview with the Vampire and I'm getting s3 spoilers and don't really care, like it's a fine soap opera but I don't feel anything for these characters.
But it is sooooo funny to see the latest development with Armand and Daniel and watch these people scramble for gifsets of them interacting in any way as if there is a shred of evidence for this development in s1 or s2

A German regional court has ruled that Google is directly liable for the content of its AI search overviews. According to the court, previou
Let’s fucking go
This is HUGE.
1. The court holds Google responsible for statements made by its AI, considering them Google's statements (search engines have limited liability for results in their engine as they're the words of other sites/companies/people), meaning when their AI lies/hallucinates they're liable for the defamation/harm resulting from those statements.
2. Google's defense that customers are generally aware of the lack of reliability and are responsible for fact checking was dismissed. As the court pointed out, that would "significantly diminish" AI Search's stated purpose and it can't be distinguished from Google's business practices/statements as a search tool.
3. Studies have found about 91% of Google's everyday AI responses are accurate, leaving millions of searches per HOUR with potential liability for falsehoods. 56% of correct responses weren't supported by the sources the AI listed. Both of which mean Google is now liable for a LOT more AI "errors."
4. Google was held liable for 80% of court costs in this case and this precedent is expected to reverberate around the world. This is a massive shift from the 3rd-party search provider role Google has previously played and it comes right as they've tied ALL searches to their AI search.
TL;DR Google reeeeeally stepped in it this time.

love the trope where an authoritative side character pointedly pretends not to help the hero they’re not supposed to be helping by saying shit like “well I can’t just let you wander around up to the THIRD FLOOR where you could just FIND THE THING YOU NEED in the FIRST ROOM ON THE LEFT. And under no circumstances should you USE THE KEY FROM UNDER THE MAT. I wish I could help you, but I CAN’T. Now excuse me, I need to take this phone call for the next 37 minutes EXACTLY.”
My doctor did that for me once. I had to get an expensive brain scan and she was like ‘do you smoke?’ and I was like ‘no’ and she was like “well that’s a pity because the government will pay for this expensive brain scan if you had been a smoker so - do you smoke?” 🤣🤣🤣 I was like ‘yes’ and she’s like ‘oh wow then this scan will be free’
and the winner of superwholock is officially??? no one. we all lost. congrats team
One moment I liked was that Carl and Grace's time having fun shopping, adding so much duct tape to their cart, playing bowling with stacks of aluminium foil, and wearing safety glasses at the checkout doesn't have the typical comedy beat of "acting suddenly embarrassed once someone asks what they're doing." Because this film is about the importance of having fun and building friendships as an essential component of human existence, and bonding with strangers is one of the purest experiences we can have. To undermine it with the typical punchline of "this kinda stuff is cringe" would undermine the thematic center of the narrative itself, and I'm glad the film is mature enough to realize that.
Edit: I see the power of whimsy and the necessity of earnest expression as an essential component of the human experience resonates with a lot of people on here, doesn't it?
Edit 2: Holy shit, mama, I'm Tumblr famous!

Eva Stratt:
it means so much to me that rocky's lead puppeteer james ortiz got to voice him and got like. full billing right next to ryan gosling in the opening credits. and he's gotten to do interviews and red carpet appearances and talk about puppetry and it's all being taken so seriously just like he's any other type of actor. gonna make me cry fr. like they could have gotten some famous person to be rocky's voice to try and pull more star power but. they went with the guy who acted him. and like of course they did. like there he is. how could they do anything else. he's right there and he's perfect

rocky's crew dying from radiation exposure, something humans go to great lengths to prevent and are very scared of and grace's crew dying in their "sleep" with nobody watching, something eridians go to great lengths to prevent and are very scared of. cool book that is easy to read through your tears.
