It hadn’t been that long. At least through the boy’s point of view. The events that transpired that landed him in an unknown location to save a friend, then to wake up back in this place. It was kind of refreshing to see this place again. Sora was relieved, and yet kind of nervous about what to say. If he were to come face to face with his friends, what would they say? How would they react? If one of them started crying, there’s a chance he might as well. Though he would do his best to be strong. To stay positive. To try and lifts those feeling down right back up.
He was alive. He was awake.
Recalling the warnings of both the younger Xehanort as well as the King stayed in the back of his mind. The power of waking really was something powerful. Abusing such an ability would seal a person’s fate. But Sora would do it all over again if it meant rescuing his beloved friend. To any of his friends.
It would happen sooner or later. It seems as if fate called for this encounter to happen now. Catching a glimpse of the white hair boy from behind, he recognize that outfit and hair anywhere! After all, it was someone close to his heart. His best friend that saved him more times then he could count. This might feel like an odd way of reuniting, but thinking about it, it could have been worse.
Sora rest his hands behind his head, deciding it would be best to get the other’s attention before he walks off any further. “You know, with that kind of expression, you make it difficult for people to approach you. You gotta relax your face once in a while, or you’ll get some early wrinkles.” His tone, playful as ever before grinning lightly to see his friend turn to him. “Hey there.”
