(Request) Teen Trouble! War Arc! Thorfinn and Canute (x Reader) stirring up trouble
Being appointed as a 'retainer', 'protector' of a prince was more than just a title.
It was a shameless lie. Prince Canute was a hostage.
Still, you and Thorfinn being the same age as him was used as a good enough excuse for you to hover over him. Ragnar was less than pleased with the decision but deemed Askeladd a smart man. These two children do look like they've killed before and bear no fear to strike one down, even for the prince.
It is just as helpful that Canute clings onto you. A sweet glance and a small rescue left the prince pining for more attention from you and now being able to call you his 'protector' stirred quite the smile on his face.
Unfortunate for him though, that giddy, lovesick grin is wiped off his face in an instant by Thorfinn's glare. The blonde was able to leave the other male shuddering in fear. He knew he wasn't fond of him and his...lack of ambition or voice but a part of him was very much aware that a huge reason on why Thorfinn was so adamant to show him the cold shoulder is because he is not happy with Canute's admiration for you.
For your part, you can either indulge in the shy glances or be bothered by it. You did not save his behind to be regarded a knight in shining armor but to safe your head from rolling. Perhaps the very obvious hints of his crush can be a burden or you are not hindred by it at all.
However, it's clear that Thorfinn is not fond of him and neither is Canute of his constant insults. The latter often demands respect of the shorter man, at least not to humiliate him in front of others (and you). "Quit it!" He'd yell and point his finger. "How dare you talk to the prince of Denmark this way?! If anything, you are my retainer, you must obey my orders!"
He'd order for Thorfinn to catch a bird flying through the air, a fat duck or a swift falcon. Despite explaining he'd cook it for the three of you, Thorfinn wouldn't waste a glance, ignoring him completely. "I don't answer to you, Princess!" "Just one bird or hare isn't enough as a meal! I can cook it with vegetables and make it a broth, that's far more filling! And more delicious than grilled meat!"
You find yourself in the middle of this childish bickering and would have to make a choice. Agree and kill the duck to make it a meal. Canute would be more than happy and especially impressed if you were to struck the animal from the sky and would do his utmost to make it the most delicious food you've ever tasted. He'd fill far more on your plate than Thorfinn's, which the latter notices and is pissed at. However, his hunger keeps his mouth shut. And Canute, sweet, innocent, boyish Canute would be on cloud nine if you were to compliment his cooking!
If you disagree with the excuse that there's no time, you'll leave him disappointed and your friend victorious with a fitting smirk. See? He was right, this demand to have everything proper and right is a waste of time for a band that always moves. Shut up and eat your duck in some thick forest with a mere fire serving as warmth and tool. Canute would silently pout and eat away, quite sad about the outcome. It'd serve as another stab by Thorfinn and his lack of respect as well as humiliation in front of you and the others as he has no choice but to listen to this...rude brat!
Though both you of are meant to look after the prince, Thorfinn refuses to be handsy with him. Ducking to avoid an attack or lending him more clothes to stay warm in the cold is something he has to do by himself for himself. Thorfinn isn't a babysitter for some coward who hides behind Ragnar like a child. Any and all touches are done by you. No matter if it to have him duck or shove him behind you, or putting a blanket around his shoulders, sitting close to keep him warm.
It's...annoying. There's no need for you to sit so close and to touch him. Little princess blessed with your closeness and concerns while Thorfinn sits on the opposite side of the wagon, arms folded and perfectly seated to watch the absurd spectacle. Canute's indulging too much to really mind his scowl.
"Are your ouchies tended to, princess?" The blonde would crack a grin. Ragnar is quick to defend him and even Askeladd is repraments the man with a quick scold. These childish antics...
For once Canute is too embarassed to counter. He feels caught in the moment and tongue-tied to say anything aside from stuttering an excuse, shrinking into a ball and hiding his red face. It's not like that! It's...just nice to...to be treated nicely for once since he was taken hostage...
Scold Thorfinn as much as you want but he won't stop. The princess is a spoiled brat and your behaviour is just spoiling him more! He ain't a little baby, he's supposed to be a prince of a country, two if this war ends up in his favor.
A whiny crybaby like him doesn't deserve to be coddled by you.
Thorfinn would scoff and roll his eyes at every sweet little interaction. It's ever so unnecessary and irritating how he folds and becomes putty in your hands. Canute shouldn't be surprised or complain about getting made fun of then.
Jealousy? Please. As if he'd want to be doted on by you as well as if he were a kid. That time was long ago. But it's just the sight of it happening that pisses him off - a royal wimp patted and cooed at the smallest things. By you out all people. Canute is thrilled whenever it's done by you and it's pathetic.
The prince himself is too timid to even use your favorism against Thorfinn, too intimidated by each glare. As humoring as the thought of rubbing the doting and the lack of it that he receives in his face may be, he's just not brave enough to do it. But he imagines to do so anyway.
Rub it in his face and cackle like a crow as you pat some snow off his head while Thorfinn is left on his own devices, scolded by you for being pessimistic, so unneeded. Canute shall get all your attention while Finnyboy trails behind so upset that he is not the number one anymore and that a princess squeezed himself between you two.
It's irresistable - but alas, his faint heart couldn't take another scowl of his.

since looking for fics in this fandom makes me feel like I’m watching tumbleweed roll across the Sahara, I felt motivated to write a little something <3
Snake
tags: depression, reverse comfort | definitely projecting here but I felt like the scenes of him sleeping through the whole day could mean he’s not just lazy and nocturnal but instead a little depressed
The sun had already moved far beyond its highest point in the sky, long shadows indicating it was late into the afternoon, when Snake was awoken by the creaking of his bedroom door. He grumbled in annoyance when soft rays of light spilled into the pitch black room onto his closed eyes, turning his back to you.
“Snake?”
Why did it have to be you?
He squeezed his eyes shut, attempting to force his body back to a state of unconsciousness. Still, he knew you would not let go so easily. Snake’s fists clenched weakly to quell whatever emotions you stirred within him by caring so persistently.
It wasn’t like he did not enjoy time spent with you. Quite the opposite was the case: It was around you that he felt more comfortable, more at ease than he’d ever thought to be possible for an exiled criminal like himself. The sense of normalcy that settled in the atmosphere whenever you so much as existed beside him Snake was so unfamiliar with yet in need of desperately.
His unease at this moment was not to blame on you.
This part of himself, heavy limbs that longed to be claimed by sleep once more, greasy, tangled hair and sweaty, unclean clothes he didn’t have the energy to change out of, he felt… embarrassed of. He couldn’t explain the cause for days like this, where the usually so capable and strong Snake disappeared, his body and mind rendered soft, couldn’t explain the weakness that claimed him. He hated every second of being awake through it.
“Roald?”
He clenched his teeth, a strangled sound leaving him.
Why did you have to make this more difficult by caring about him so foolishly?
“Hm,” he answered with a voice strained by dehydration. His mouth had not seen a drop of water for perhaps a day, if he had to guess.
Your brows furrowed in worry as not even the smell of your warm, freshly cooked stew would coax Snake out of bed. The air in his bedroom was used up, smelling of sweat and exhaustion. As you bit your lip, you contemplated how you could help Snake. Surely, anyone a little less sensitive would have dragged him up to stand. It was undoubtedly the fastest way to have him stand upright and join the others for much-needed help during harvesting season.
While your eyes traced his still body, you took note of his curled up position that seemed so unlike a man of his strength. It wouldn’t feel right to rip him so forcefully from his soft bed, the cushions that he gripped so tightly.
Taking a deep breath of the stale air and exhaling with a sigh, you set down the bowl of stew you’d been intending to wake him with.
“Roald…” you whispered his name carefully once more, hoping your tone would not reek of pity or disappointment and instead convey your sympathy.
He didn’t move when the bed creaked under your weight nor while you shifted to sit beside his head. He was quite glad you did not see his eyes, which were wide open and displaying the messy swirl of emotions that surged through his veins.
A few moments, neither of you cared how many, passed in mildly tense silence before your hand carefully moved to caress his black locks. He tensed up slightly in surprise before melting under your touch. You didn’t care for the mess he was, the grease that had built up on his head and the strands starting to form mats, didn’t care that your clean, soft hands were touching it. You wanted him to feel good, and knowing this made his heart ache with delight and guilt in a way only you could be the cause of. Your nails dragged along his scalp and hairline, your warm thigh touched the back of his head as Snake started to close his eyes again. Though he’d done nothing but sleep for hours, the man had not truly rested until you entered.
“I’ll stay here until you feel better. If you’re hungry then, I’ve made stew.”
Anyone else would have dragged his drained body to its feet, maybe scold him for sleeping through the day as others were out on the fields, working hard for a plentiful harvest. You’d be right to. After all, what was he without his sense of duty, his strength?
He’d never felt more useless, and yet, he’d also never felt as loved.
It would be easier to endure reprimands than your kindness, your understanding.
The moon’s thin crescent shape stood high up in the sky, weakly illuminating the Danish country. Rays of light distributed themselves over the land equally, none differing from the other.
Though the sight of the night sky should make any man tired and wish for nothing but sleep, Canute had not yet warmed up to the idea of a shared bed, finding himself unable to succumb to slumber. He had not anticipated the lack of solitude to worsen his already horrendous sleeping schedule.
However, the king could not afford any rumors to spread as a consequence of sleeping in a different bed, let alone a different room than his spouse. The King knew that word spread fast, changing with each mouth that spoke of him to create far more scandalous rumors that were only loosely based on truth. Canute didn’t want people to snicker at his cowardice or shudder at his heartlessness towards his spouse.
He’d appear as the fearless king, nobody ever guessing he’d be afraid of anything, especially not what most would consider comforting.
Canute sighed inaudibly as he cast his gaze to you. His spouse. The sight reminded the king of another reason why he did not wish to sleep separately. A less rational reason than he’d like to admit.
You were tucked into the sheets up to your chin, your chest rising and sinking with every peaceful breath. A stray lock of hair fell across your face in an unruly fashion, complimenting the small drool stain you were leaving on the pillow.
You knew what kind of man Canute was. By no means was he the timid prince he had been before; He conquered English territory with little care for anyone who could not increase his power or prosperity, the goal of paradise seeming to slip further from his hands each day as the heavy crown corrupted him.
How could you sleep so carelessly, beautifully relaxed next to him?
Canute could not decide whether to scoff at the naivety or to reciprocate the trust you showed.
His icy eyes drifted toward the large window once more, the weight of dark circles and red, irritated eyes were no longer something the king could ignore. His stiff body refused the idea of falling asleep next to someone, paranoid his trust would be misplaced as that of his brother had been in him.
Paradoxically, his heart fluttered in adoration when his gaze drifted to your peaceful face, his eyes unsure whether to look at your eyes, lips, nose, cheeks, forehead or chin first. It always felt better to observe than to touch. Besides accidental brushes of skin and hand-holding when expected, Canute had never touched you in the months of being wed. If you were to never notice, if he had no duties to attend to, the king would spend hours upon hours observing you, your behaviour, expressions and hear your voice. He liked your laugh the best, but he’d be happier to see and hear you cry than to not see you at all.
Did this mean he liked you? The possibility of his stone heart to beat for something other than paradise on earth, the goal he pursued with tunnel vision each day, he had thought to be nonexistent. Yet it beat for you in the happiest rhythm he knew, and his hands were unable to reach out, his body refusing to unwind beside you. Was it fear of rejection? Lack of trust?
The blonde pinched the bridge of his nose in between index finger and thumb, unbothered by your quiet shuffling. He could hear the heavy breathing of his father emerge from the pregnant silence, the illusion of his severed head starting to materialize from thin air on the night stand. As King Sweyn cackled at his son, showing incomplete rows of teeth and chapped lips that strained to smile, Canute felt more hateful of his father than he ever had in these past years of being a ruler. Instead, the sense of justice, disbelief at the cruelty of the crown overcame who had now effectively become just as ruthless of a king as his father. He’d last felt such strong aversion before he had placed the golden crown atop his head.
Uncertainty weighed heavy upon his sternum as Canute frantically searched for the cause behind his cracking resolve, a gentle arm reached out to lay atop his chest, your fingers timidly grasping his white nightgown. In an instant, the severed head disappeared and so did his mocking laughter.
The blonde turned his head slowly. He felt warmth spread through his body from his chest, flowing upwards to his neck, shoulders, arms and face and downwards to his waist, legs and feet, relaxing muscles Canute had not even noticed were tense. Only then did he notice how cold and stiff he had been before.
His body sunk deeper into the mattress under the weight of your arm. How lonely it had been to sleep alone all this time, Canute recognised. Your very essence seemed to engulf him, and you were not even aware.
He chuckled, pondering what expression you would wear when you’d wake up in this unusual position, though with Canute’s acute lack of sleep, he would likely wake up after you and not be graced by your amusing reaction.
He’d just have to find other ways to fluster you then.
—
Hey so I hope this fandom is not completely dead and that this isn’t too out of character for the two :3
You were wandering around, not far from King Sven’s estate, when you heard commotions coming from the palace. Not thinking much of it at first, you minded your own business, kicking some rocks on the ground with your foot.
Sighing, you looked up at the night sky. The stars were kind tonight, bright enough that you could clearly see the constellations. You put your hand up, as if you were trying to catch them. You reckoned that night a few weeks ago, when Knut had told you that if he could, he would bring them to you.
You chuckled at the memory. You two had sneaked out to stargaze next to a frozen lake, hiding from your father’s surveillance. Knut looked so pretty under the soft moonlight.
The fact that he had been so easy to talk to had been surprising, but it had been rather pleasant.
After all, it hadn’t been hard to get close to each other. As the daughter of Askeladd, and him as the prince of Danemark, you two had been put under high surveillance. And since it wasn’t the most exciting thing, you two had talked a lot. One thing led to another and you had become more than friends, but less than lovers. How could you, daughter of a Viking captain, hope to ever have something with a Royal family member?
Still, he had looked at you with kind, almost loving eyes. You realized that night, next to the frozen lake, surrounded by soft snow, that you loved him. The stars reflected in his pale blue eyes. Yet, you said nothing. He couldn’t love you back, and you didn’t want to make things awkward between the two of you.
You were aware of the political tensions surrounding Knut, his heritage, your father and the war. But you were oh so tired of it. At first, you didn’t even wanted to follow your father. He had brought you along, and you didn’t even knew why.
But in the end, you didn’t hold a grudge, because it allowed you to meet Knut. And without a doubt, it was the best thing to ever happen to you.
Lately, you noticed more that the prince was burdened by the expectations, that everyone –including Askeladd– wanted to manipulate him for their own needs. Of course you knew about corruption, and it generally didn’t bother you. But in some way, since Knut was the subject of this corruption, you felt a need to protect him, to shield him from your father’s schemes and the World's shenanigans. But who were you to do that? It’s not like you knew how to fight better than these men, it’s not like they would give up their prey because you were guarding it.
This world was relentless and you were helpless. Sure, you knew how to hold a dagger and defend yourself. Your father wouldn’t have taken you with him without making sure you could fend for yourself as long as he needed to get back to you and fight instead of you.
But to fight against an army to protect Knut? You knew better than to even dream of it.
But you were pulled out of your thoughts by the commotions. You frowned slightly, glancing towards King Sven’s castle. You were used to men being loud, but something felt off this time. You carefully stepped closer, a sudden feeling of dread settling in your stomach.
You heard Knut’s voice. He was talking in an authoritative way, which was unusual for the soft boy he usually was. You tried to come closer, you tried to enter the building, but Thorkell grabbed your waist and led you away. You struggled against him, but it was no use.
“Prince Knut told me to keep you safe, so you’re going to stay away.” Thorkell claimed, tying you to a tree. Because he knew that if he told you to stay away, you were most likely to not obey and run into trouble.
The feeling of dread wasn’t gone, and didn’t go away for the endless minutes you struggled against your bounds. You could see from afar the panic and the chaos that was unfolding. Though, it didn’t seem to look like a battlefield. You tried to untie yourself, but you only managed to burn your wrists. With a sigh, you gave up and just pried to not be forgotten out here in the cold.
About an hour later, you finally saw Thorkell and Knut coming your way.
“It’s about time.” You grumbled as Thorkell untied you. You immediately noticed the two men were unusually quiet. Thorkell gave a look at Knut and walked away, leaving the prince alone with you. You frowned and glanced at Knut.
“Is everything okay? What happened in there?” You asked, the dread finally coming back like a tidal wave. You looked around the landscape, noticing how the crowd had tamed.
Knut took a deep breath, closing his eyes. “Askeladd –your father– is dead. I killed him.”
You froze, slowly turning your head towards him. “...What?”
You weren’t particularly close with your father. He dealt with your presence and you just survived around him. But there were some times, rare and short moments, when he really felt like your father more than a Viking captain that treated you like a burden. Sometimes, you wondered if he would have treated you differently if you had been a boy.
But right now, Askeladd’s sudden death left a hole in your chest. You didn’t know how to react. That’s when you realized you didn’t know what was going to happen next. Your father had always been there to protect you, to shield you from his men and from enemies. Your fists tightened by your side, your jaw clenched. You felt helpless, desperately alone and upset.
“I’m sorry.” Knut added.
“You’re sorry?” You huffed. “You killed my father and you’re sorry?” You turned to face him, hitting his chest, but you had no strength to really hurt him.
He let you hit him, without saying anything. It upsetted you more than you cared to admit. Everything was a mess in your head : you were surprised you cared that much about your father, you were mad at Knut for killing him and yet you still loved him. How could that make sense? You didn’t understand. You felt so conflicted it hurt your chest.
Your legs suddenly felt weak. You sat on the ground, putting your hands in your head. Knut watched you carefully, crouching down before you.
“I won’t leave you alone. You’re staying with me, if that’s what you want.” Knut stated softly, putting a hand on your shoulder, making sure to not startle you. “You don’t have to be on your own.”
You pushed his hand away swiftly, glaring at him. How dared he touch you with the blood of your father on his hands?
His eyes widened for a moment, his hand hovering, before he sighed and pulled back completely. He stood up, looking at you with sadness and understanding.
“I’ll be over there whenever you’re ready to talk.” He told you, his tone soft. He started to walk away but he stopped and turned to you. “He died fighting, he was a brave man.”
☙❧
A couple hours later, you finally decided to go to the castle. The night was falling and the cold was rising once again. You had spent the last hours thinking about your situation and about how you felt about it.
You hadn’t seen Askeladd’s corpse, you didn’t want to see it. You didn’t want to corrupt the image and idea you had of your father by seeing his dead body. You didn’t know what they’ve done with him, you didn’t want to know. You didn’t accept his death.
Once you stepped inside the castle, you were met with soldiers pointing their weapons at you, calling you a slave and telling you to leave. You glanced up, frowning. Knut dismissed them quickly.
You looked at him, crossing your arms. “You got yourself a crown?” You asked.
“I did.” He replied, smiling slightly. A faint blush appeared on his cheeks.
“So what? You’re like…the King now?” You looked around the room, watching men cleaning the blood off the walls and ground.
“Actually, yeah. I am.”
Your head snapped back to Knut, eyebrows shooting up in surprise.
He stroked the back of his neck awkwardly. “Did you know your father was actually the son of a Danish Lord and a Welsh noblewoman?” He asked you.
You frowned, confused. “What? I don’t…” You paused for a second, thinking. “I don’t know anything about my ancestors…” You admitted. “I don’t even have a single memory of my mother.”
Knut nodded, looking away for a moment. When he finally put his eyes back on you, his gaze was hopeful. “If… what Askeladd said about his parents and ancestors is true, it means you have noble blood…”
Your eyes widened slightly as you started to understand where he was going. “You don’t mean..”
“I mean that we can be together. Officially. I want to make you my Queen. I want to be yours.” He admitted, looking straight into your eyes.
Your stomach dropped and felt as if a hundred butterflies were flying into it. You suddenly felt giddy, heat creeping onto your neck and cheeks. “You can’t be serious, Knut.. It’s foolish.”
“It would be foolish to not take that chance.” He cut you, stepping closer to your form. “I want you to be safe. Now that your father is dead, please let me take care of you. I beg you, let me be your King.” He cupped one of your cheeks gently, as if he was holding a precious diamond.
You stared at him in disbelief, but you nodded. “Of course I want that…” You took a deep breath. “But I’m still going to make you pay for killing my father…” You murmured, smiling faintly, not really making a serious threat. You were probably going to glare at him from afar and avoid him for a few days at most.
“If in the end I get to be completely yours, that’s alright with me.” He murmured, hugging you. He rested his head on top of yours, closing his eyes, content.
You pinched his side, and he shrieked, jerking away quickly like a scared cat. “Hey!”
“That’s what you get for killing my father then asking for my hand.” You countered, flipping your hair.
🐉Well, perhaps misery really does love company as both of you just happen to be in the exact same boat as each other. Hatori and you both do not see yourselves as worthy of love yet at the same time both of you believe that the other one is more than just deserving of finding a significant other that will treat them with love and affection. Hatori's heart doesn't open its doors easily for just anyone, not after he put the woman he loved so much through pain and was forced to erase her memories. He has witnessed himself how happy she is without him and that has led him to believe that he could never attribute to someone's happiness as a lover. Yet you bang dangerously on a heart that continues to soften with thoughtful gestures. There's nothing that makes his heart flatter quite as much as when you walk in on him having fallen asleep on his desk and he wakes up with a blanket drapped over his shoulders or the drinks and bento boxes that you bring him whenever he is working too long. The fear presses heavily down on his chest as Hatori fears that history will repeat itself yet at the same time he cannot surpress his longing for eternity. His heart is unable to turn itself off.
🐉So Hatori starts returning the affection you show him, showers you in the same care and attention that you have given him even though he doesn't think that he is worthy of it. He may not be worthy of your love but you are worthy of all the love and even if it may not be much he is willing to give it all to you. Throughout his own low self-worth it only now occurs to him that perhaps you have been harboring a very similar mindset as him. He hears it when your friends excitedly ask you about Hatori and you firmly reply that the both of you only care about each other as friends, jokingly replying that someone like him could never love you. It's only meant to lighten the mood but his heart drops when he hears those words, catches the glimmer of self-depreciation within those beautiful eyes. It is such a familiar sensation to him that it almost hurts to realise that all this time you have been feeling this way and he has never noticed it until now. Hatori beats himself up silently over it later that night, disappointed and angry at himself that he has never known about your own low self-worth. You, the person that he wishes to cherish the most on this planet.
🐉It doesn't matter that he thinks of himself as unworthy of love. After all the memories he has stolen and lives of fellow Zodiac members that he has ruined as a result of his abilities he deserves all the guilt and the loneliness. You on the other hand have done nothing wrong in your life. In Hatori's eyes you are just a joy to the world and to the people around you so he can't even fathom why you would believe yourself to be not deserving of love. It just hurts to see how you continue to tell yourself that no one can ever love you and it pushes Hatori to grow slightly more overbearing. He feels the need to help you see yourself in the same way that he sees you, tries to discover what is the root of those self-dismissive thoughts. Insults that friends jokingly direct at you or questions that your family asks you in regards to your lovelife are suddenly met with an air of defensiveness from Hatori's side as his heart grows more sensitive on your behalf, worried that even such words could only hurt you secretively more. There is an increase in affection that Hatori gives you, not enough to be counted as overbearing but definitely enough for you to react confused and somewhat worried.
Kamo Choso
🩸Choso struggles immensely at the beginning of his obsession. It is a lot for him. He has just recently been reborn in a vessel, thrown into a world unfamiliar and strange to him yet he has been on the front lines from the very beginning. The only anchor he has is his younger brother Itadori as the young boy is the only family that Choso has left in this world now. He is familiar with brotherly love yet when you stride into his life, he doesn't understand what he is feeling. Your gentle smile has his heart pounding, your voice has his head buzzing pleasantly and whenever you touch him gently and ask him if he's alright his ears turn red. Initially Choso almost believes that he is sick yet not only does he have to almost immediately rule this possibility out as he is not a human but he also notices that you are the trigger of all of these symptoms. Yet instead of seeking a cure Choso finds himself actively seeking you out, longing for more of those strange sensations that only you can eilicit out of him. He wishes to protect you very much like he wishes to protect his brother yet there is something more that he wants and it is that something that has him struggling. He doesn't know what it is.
🩸Choso adapts though, albeit slowly, to the world that he has been thrown into. Adapting means realising what it is he is feeling from the information he picks up around him. The moment Choso can name what he is feeling for you and knows what it implies on a basic level, he starts courting you. It is far from your average prince in a fairy tale but it is adorable in its own rights. Flowers that he buys for you and hands you with softly spoken words, warm hands that cling to you whenever you are close and adoring eyes that cannot separate from you whenevr you are within his view. Unable to understand fully what you mean when he overhears that the two of you are only friends, the sharp pain doesn't strike his heart until later when he grasps the meaning behind them. Choso is everything but subtle about it either as he asks you what it is that he has been doing wrong, begging for advice on what he can do better so that he may become your significant other and protect you from everything and everyone. He struggles to understand what your words mean as you merely tell him that he is probably just being confused right now and his first assumption is simply that there must be someone behind this.
🩸Protecting his loved ones has so far almost meant defending them from physical threats. This is not something he can fight using his powers though. This is a burden that you carry within your heart and unable to figure out how to help you kills Choso on the inside. In his eyes you are the most beautiful person in the world, someone who doesn't deserve to have any harm ever be directed your way. It is a constant tug of war game that happens within his heart as in some moments he swears that there has to be someone responsible for your feelings and that he just has to hunt that someone down and in the next moment he can only be overwhelmed by anxiety as he wonders what he could do better to help you and that he isn't doing enough. The intentions to help you and comfort you come from a pure place but Choso only knows how to express them in the most overwhelming ways possible. He glues himself to your hips and starts showering you in affection and love, praying that it'll help your wounded heart. Every word that is spoken to you and that Choso interprets as an insult to you can end deadly for the culprit if you aren't there to stop him.
Canute
👑What could possibly be more sweet than you, a maid who works closely for the king? Freshly employed with an optimism that is still settled within reality, you take your duties seriously as you look out for the king and always make sure that he too gets his rest. Canute tends to get lost in the burden of a king, sees hallucinations of his own father who mocks him for how the crown has poisoned him too. In such moments you almost appear like an angel, your mere presence silencing his father's voice like the light does the darkness at the beginning of a new day. As cruel as Canute tends to be and as much as you sometimes condemn him for the cruelty that he directs against the innocent people, you have also witnessed the side of him that he is unable to expose to those who obey him. Heavy is the crown after all and perhaps in order to be respected and to not be betrayed he just needs to be feared by others. Sometimes you think of the crown decorating his head as a cage and so you decide to do what you can do as a mere humble maid to give Canute some brief moments of peace where he too can enjoy being a human free of all burden and expectations.
👑Never have you ever expected something in return. It is your duty after all to serve Canute to the fullest of your abilities and you are aware of the vast differences between the two of you as he is a king and you only a humble servant. Still, unaware to your own eyes you have started to catch his interest. Care and attention can go a long way after all and though Canute may not openly admit it, he does appreciate every little thing that you do for him. Especially since he knows that you don't do it with any backhanded motives in mind. You do not wish for any affection directed your way or for any rewards, you do it because you wish to treat him nicely. It is a quality that could be easily stepped on as kindness is something that he has forgone in favor of achieving his goal yet within you it is rightly placed. It starts very subtly with praises given to you when the two of you are alone, words you humbly reject every single time. Then Canute starts asking you for any wishes that you may have, for physical treasures you may desire yet instead you always request for help for your family or your friends as there is nothing that you desire to receive from him. You are humble. Far too humble.
👑It is a shame that you sell yourself so short, especially since it is a king who pries for your affection and love. Honestly, Canute is unsure if he should feel amused or somewhat offended by your constant rejections of his indirect courtings as you do not believe yourself as worthy to be loved by him. His words are final so all Canute would have to do is to demand from you to become his lover yet it is exactly because he has the luxury of that option that he decides against it. This is a matter of personal pride now to see just how he can be able to infiltrate your heart enough for you to love him and to seek him out than the other way around. It doesn't go unnoticed by the people surrounding him how he constantly keeps you around even when there is no need for your services at the moment and rumors quickly start spreading. Canute mostly ignores them until someone badmouths you in which case the king is quick and merciless to silence anyone who dares to insult you in his face. You can scarcely remember when you were able to stray from Canute's side and visit your family and friends yet whenever you ask him that question he merely lets you know that he still needs your services.
Gauche Adlai
🪞In comparison to most other first meetings that Gauche had, he must say that the one between him and you is far more pleasant. That is only because you are introduced to him as someone who greatly cares for his little sister Marie and who looks out for her. Marie's fondness for you adds to the good impression even if there is a twinge of jealousy whenever she talks so much about you. However, he stops pretty soon with those jealous glares whenever you only reply with a smile or immediately walk over and ask him what is wrong, unfaced by the ill-mannered attitude that puts so many others off. Unable to handle that sheer amount of kindness and afraid to be called a meanie by his little sister, Gauche stops quickly with those dark looks. You speak highly of Marie whenever Gauche visits as you know that he is often busy as a Magic Knight which is why you decide to tell him little stories of Marie and obviously he listens, his chest growing with pride whenever you speak of something she accomplished. He is a little bit strange but you still tell him that you think of him as a good human, something he denies as he averts his eyes, his heart suddenly pounding within his chest.
🪞At one point conversations aren't just about Marie anymore. Suddenly Gauche starts showing an interest in you as well and though you often try to guide the discussion back to Marie, that only works for so long until Gauche insists weirdly intensely that he wants to know more about you. So you see yourself unable to reject him as you hesitantly reveal bits about your own life. Presents that used to be solely for Marie are suddenly split up as you too start receiving gifts from Gauche. At the beginning you always tried to reject them but Gauche is awfully persistent and far too seriously until he has successfully tired you out and you just silently accept everything. The drama starts anew whenever he visits and realises that you aren't wearing any of the clothes or accessories that he has bought you, his gaze so displeased and offended that you often hurry back home to put on new clothes. The nosebleed that he gets every time worries you and it doesn't stop, especially when you stand far too close and press the tissue against his nose. He starts dragging you along with Marie every time he visits, especially once Marie asks you to accompany the two of them.
🪞He finds out through Marie one day about your thoughts and feelings as the girl approached you to ask what you think of her brother as his own feelings have been glaringly obvious for a while now. Gauche, with no thoughts of being considerate, approaches you soon after and asks you if you are truly feeling like you do not deserve love, specifically his love. Far too blunt and harsh with his choice of words and his heavy stare, you are unable to answer that question properly as you instead scurry away. Normally Gauche would have stopped you but in that moment Theresa is watching and he knows that she would immediately stop him if he were to chase after you. This is far from over though. Gauche is very possessive, all the more since it isn't easy for someone to even reach the importance he would usually only give his little sister. The main reason why he can rest somewhat easy is simply because he knows you wouldn't accept it if anyone else were to confess to you besides him though obviously he would be quick to threaten all possible competition. Needless to say though, he is going to get you to be his one way or another and he isn't necessarily shy of using force.
Jinx
꩜Perhaps you are the little bit of sweetness that someone like Jinx has always needed in her life. She is in the firm belief that people are always going to abandon and betray her, even her own mind constantly lets her down as she is haunted by voiced and faces of the past. Essentially Jinx feels like there is no one that she can trust, not even herself. That all seems to change when she bumps into you though. Within the chaotic life of the Undercity you seem to be so out of place. You're kind, honest and far from the type who would backstab anybody. This is why it is somewhat hard for Jinx to initially believe that you are truly as gentle and kind as you seem to be, especially once you direct that warm attention at her. She isn't used to such open care and love, at least not since Vi left her all by herself. She has never forgotten the pain of being left by the person she thought would stay by her side and love her no matter what though which is why she constantly asks you for reassurance if you are being honest with her. You always tell her that you are but that doesn't have to mean that you truly mean those words. She would know best after all as her older sister promised her the exact same thing.
꩜Nevertheless, as your presence becomes a constant in her life, Jinx starts to actively seek you out. Random knocks on your window in the middle of the night or her suddenly bursting through your frontdoor. There is always that subtle tension in her body that melts the moment you greet her with that sweet smile as if she came to your house in the fear that you wouldn't be there anymore. Whenever she is bothered, whenever the past catches up to her and she feels her chest tighten Jinx always comes to you without a fail. The voices don't go away and they probably never fully will but you provide her with a comfort and stability that makes everything more bearable. There have been admittedly times where she accidentally hurt you when she was in the throes of the voices and faces assaulting her but even then you always stayed with her. It is when she witnesses this, how you still stay even when she is at her lowest and even hurts you, that Jinx decides that she wants to believe that you are different and that you are never going to leave her. This is how the delusional tendencies start and this is how she cranks up her affection to a 12, her clinginess undeniable as she even crawls into your bed with you.
꩜The emotions that you feel and the thoughts that you harbor are things that she struggles to process and understand. Not because she struggles with the concept of emotions but because she is too emotional for her to be rational and calm. All that Jinx hears is that you do not want her which clashes with her newly adopted delusional tendencies as you are meant to be the one person who is never going to betray her. In a impulsive outburst so typical for her she ends up abducting you on the spot as you wake up tied to a chair with Jinx pretty much placed on your lap, muttering and talking to herself and the voices that once again have come to haunt her which is why she has searched for sanctuary on your lap. When she notices that you are awake she asks you if you feel sorry for what you have told her earlier, rejecting her love for you, and only once you nod does she remove the tape covering your mouth. Almost immediately she demands of you to apologise to her now though since your words were quite hurtful for her. Safe to say, you aren't going anywhere anytime soon. No, instead you will have to mend the cracks within Jinx's delusional thoughts. Be careful with your words from now on.

Snake
🐍 The thing is Snake was supposed to know you were a princess. Everyone else did, when you arrived on Ketils farm with your multiple body guards and your father the king of Wales in toe behind you it made it rather obvious 🐍
🐍 Snake was not there when you arrived, he was over sleeping and never really catches the memo that you were the Princess of Wales 🐍
🐍 Your father believed you needed some experience in the real world and decided to take you to Ketils farm 🐍
🐍 Snake that you were just some beautiful rich lady and of course made his moves, ones you did not fall for immediately 🐍
🐍 Eventually Sverkel told him of your status, “ You know your not gonna win or the Princess of Wales with your normal attitude right?” Sverkel would say to Snake who nearly fallen over 🐍
🐍 “ What do you mean the Princess of Wales?! Why didn’t anyone tell me that before?!” Snake would yell angrily at Sverkel 🐍
🐍“ Maybe because it’s your own responsibility to watch up on time, especially as a protector of this farm you damn idiot.” Sverkel would sass back 🐍
🐍 Snake would eventually win over your favor one night when the game was attacked by bandits. Snake had heard you scream and ran off to your cabin you were staying it, to find that bandits had thrown you to the ground and were ransacking your belongings 🐍
🐍 Snake of course took care of them an then walked over to you. “ I’m sorry I didn’t get here any sooner are you alright Princess?” Snake would as holding out a hand for you to grab 🐍

🐍 From that day on you and Snake got closer and closer. Not out of stupid flirting, but out of a genuine trust for one another 🐍
Canute sat on his throne, his fist holding his head up, one leg crossed over the other. He had just left the meeting with his council, and they were insisting he find a wife who is capable of ruling by his side so he can have heirs to the throne. He wasn’t too keen on the idea of possibly marrying, but he agreed he did need to raise the next kin to take his spot.
He watched as the people mingled together, but most women were trying so hard to win his favor. They all looked foolish, with their caked-on makeup and trying to seduce him. He looked around, bored; none of them interested him in the slightest.
But then you walked in. You hadn’t approached him like the other women; you had natural beauty, beauty that made every man stop and stare in awe, while women glared at you in jealousy. He sat up, back straight.
Wulfe noticed the way his king sat up, with interest, before speaking.
“Shall I bring her here, your majesty?”
“Have her meet me in the garden, I don’t want prying eyes.”
Wulfe approached you as you mingled, then Canute went to the garden to wait. After ten minutes, you arrived, glancing around. Wulfe had guided you and stepped away for privacy.
When your eyes landed on him, you curtsied deeply and respectfully.
“Your majesty, you wished to speak with me?”
“Indeed, what is your name?”
“I am (Y/N) of the (L/N) household.”
“Do you know why I held a ball?”
“You are searching for a wife, I assume?” You asked, finally meeting his eyes.
"You are correct. I met many women tonight, most flaunting their family names and trying to impress me. But they all bore me. You are different, though I can't say why."
“I am not sure, but I am flattered.” You were tense, and he sat down on a bench, and he patted the seat next to him. You walked over and sat beside him. It was quiet as he admired the flowers in his garden. Some reminded him of his mother.
You looked around, too, not sure what to say. He gently took your hand in his and brought it to his lips.
“Normally, most kings would demand the lady’s hand in marriage, but I want to break that tradition. Let me court you, properly, Lady (Y/N). I want to make you my wife, but in the right way. Will you let me?”
“You want me as your wife? Are you sure I will be a good Queen?”
“My intuitions are pretty spot on, and I will be by your side to help you. So, will you let me?”
“Of course, thank you, your majesty.”
“Canute…”
“What?”
“Call me Canute when we are alone like this. No need for formalities, and I will call you (Y/N).”
You smiled and nodded your head.
“Alright, Canute,” you said. He stood up, his hand in yours.
“I will court you, but I do have to make the announcement that I have found a potential wife whom I am going to court. Is that okay? I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.”
“I do not mind. I was not expecting to be chosen, but I prepared myself nonetheless.”
“Good.”
He leaned forward and kissed your forehead. At the end of the ball, he announced he would be courting you to be his queen. The women groaned and protested, but Canute didn’t care. He wanted you as his wife and only his wife.
⤷‧₊˚ he was not like any other king you had ever seen before, and you couldn't help but become interested in him. little did you know, he was equally curious about you.

sticky note from deja — ( dedicated to @diorsbrando )
King Canute always piqued your curiosity. When he returned home, you remembered how it felt like the wind knocked out your lungs when he walked by you. You were completely breathless at the sight of him. You’ve only heard stories about him. Rumors, and folktales for children to imagine that they’ll be rulers like him. You knew that you would never even have the grace to be fully in his presence. You were merely a princess here under protection in exchange for the best resources your country could offer.
Canute probably didn’t even know your name if you were going, to be honest with yourself. Although, you spent a lot of time with Estrid—even so you doubt she would blabber on to her brother about friends she has made during his absence.
But you were completely wrong, Canute actually did know your name. He actually did notice you within the castle that was protected by his men. You didn’t know until one late evening as you were sipping on tea alone and reading some book you found. Canute thought everyone was sound asleep until he saw you sipping on tea that a servant made before heading to bed. You sipped in silence as he helped himself to the same tea the servant made, it still was hot and full of flavor to help bring comfort.
“You’re up quite late don’t you think?” Canute’s brash voice brought you out of the book your eyes were glued on reading by the little lamp near you.
You watch as he brought the cup up to his lips. His blue eyes scan over your face waiting for an answer.
“I can’t sleep, so I usually read until I grow tired,” You lift the book to show him. “Despite me reading this book many times.” You chuckle to yourself and sipped the last droplets of tea out of your cup. You closed the book and stood up, respectfully bowing in Canute’s presence.
“I should head to bed though. Estrid has something planned for us tomorrow.” You flash him a grin before turning to make your exit, but his words stop you.
“I have more books if you’re curious to read some more.”
You pull the book to your chest as if he’ll take it from you and you shake your head. “Your Highness, I can’t do that. You’ve done so much for me by letting me stay here for protection—I’ll feel like I’m intruding.” You pause not sure to finish the last part of your sentence, afraid that’ll it come off offensive or disrespectful.
“Plus, what would someone think if they saw me leaving your chambers with a book that belongs to you.” You shudder at the thought of the consequences of that. “I appreciate your gratitude, your highness-“
“I’m the King of England, anyone who has anything to say can say to me.” His arms crossed over his chest before he’s stepping by you. “It’s okay.”
Your lips form a straight line and you couldn’t argue against the king’s words. Especially since someone could come in and hear that you defined him. How dare you decline such an offer from King Canute. You followed behind through the dimly lit halls not wanting to talk much because for one.) everyone was sleeping and two.) anyone that was up could hear you and wonder why a woman like you were up so late. You’ve never graced so far away from where your own chambers were, let alone so close to where the King’s was at.
The two guards that stood outside his chambers head was held high seeing Canute but one of them eyes narrowed at the sight of you behind Canute clutching the book to your chest. Your eyes averted down in embarrassment at the pending rumors that can circulate around the castle before afternoon tea with Estrid. However, you took note of how Canute pushed open the door of his chambers and he stepped a side to let you enter first.
Most likely ensuring his guards don’t speak a word of the quite scandalous thing unfolding. A mere princess going into the bed chambers of the King of England. If your mother was here you would be able to feel the daggers of her glare stabbing at your back with each step you took further inside his chambers. You can hear her voice now about how unladylike it was to be doing this. But after all, you were only here to see what books he had and then quickly make your way back to your own bed chambers to rest.
But you were so wrong. You didn’t go back to your chambers, instead forty five minutes have passed and you were sitting in a chair across from Canute talking. At first it was about books. He mentioned to you that he always noticed you had your head inside a book, which you pointed out that it was the only thing you can do if you didn’t want to be follow Estrid around on whatever shenanigans she wanted to do. Then you talked about your childhood, well it was more so you mainly talked about your country and how you were raised.
Canute’s gaze made you feel warm. A good kind of warm though. A gaze that made you feel like you were sitting next to a well lit fire after being out in the winter cold. You still couldn’t read him just as much as he could read you within these minutes of you talking, but you were okay with that. A King shouldn’t let his guard down so easily, especially if it would be a time where someone could backstab him easily.
“That still don’t explain why you’re not married? Your family decided to send you away instead of keeping you close.” Canute thumbs at his lip as his head fell back to be back with the wooden back of the chair he was in.
“They’re just searching for the right suitors but war got in the way of that. My mom hoping that I’ll find someone here, but I highly doubt so—despite that it’ll help my family greatly with allies and connections.” You smoothed out your dress before soon meeting Canute’s eyes.
You wanted to know what was on his mind.
“And why don’t you think so?” Canute’s head tilt slightly and his eyebrows raised at you.
“I don’t really put myself out there your highness as much as I should. I have shooed a lot of people Estrid have introduced me to away,” You honestly answered. “It doesn’t feel right.”
“I mean, I’m aware that a lot of marriages are considered political moves to be on top. So, I will just do what I have to do to ensure my family is okay,” You give him a grin before going back to flipping the pages in the book in front of you.
A sudden silence overcame you two, you assumed Canute was processing what you were saying. You were aware that if push come to shove, him as the King have to possibly marry a beautiful noble woman to solidify a country he wanted to control. Plus every King needs a heir to the throne, right?
“If you don’t want to marry someone for political gain, I think you shouldn’t.” Canute answered truthfully before you could catch his gaze that’s been drilling a hole in you, his eyes looks down at the book he’s been attempting to read. He just can’t when someone as elegant as you were sitting in front of you.
“Of course you can say that your highness. But I can’t defy my family, they’re depending on me to return married and with something that benefit my bloodline.” You answered truthfully.
There that silence waved over the pair again. You went back to scheming over the mountains of books in his room figuring out which ones you wanted to take back to your room. You found two you were interesting in reading and pulled it from the pile.
“No, I’m saying as King I can ensure you’ll only get married until you’re ready and with someone you want.” Canute corrected.
You wanted to say that he was joking, but you haven’t seen the king crack a smile yet. Plus his tone was assertive—demanding. As if you couldn’t even argue against what he said, his words were final.
“Your highness, you can’t-“ You stooled mid sentence to correct yourself because who were you to tell the King of England what he can and can’t do. “You do not have to do that, it is my duty that was placed upon me and I have to do it. Think how bizarre it’ll be for me to decline a proposal and what will I say? The King said no?”
“Yes.”
“Do you know what the people will say?” You leaned forward. “They’ll chalk it off as the King just having a woman to warm his bed, but they’ll probably think I’m trying to become Queen in some conniving way.”
He pushes his chair closer towards your end of the small table you sat at. “Then let them think that and if they have a problem with it, I’ll have their tongue.”
“Your highness.”
“Canute.”
Your eyes looked at him wondering where this was coming from. “Canute, this will complicate some things.”
You didn’t even notice that he moved closer. Your faces are just inches apart, so close to your soft pillowy lips being on his. “Then let it.” He leans in and places a kiss on your lips.
You wanted to panic as you jumped back after his lips kissed yours. Your eyes darted to the door where the guards were standing to protect their King.
“Just ignore them, not like they can barge in here without permission.” His rough hands collected yours and you felt the pad of his thumb on the back of his hand.
With that your closing your eyes to kiss him. You’ve only kissed two boys before. One when you were twelve and another when you were only seventeen. Both were mere memories you couldn’t fully remember, but you knew that this was better. The intense kiss from the King of England left you breathless as you grasped at the thin fabric of his shirt attempting to bring him closer. It didn’t take much for Canute to tug you on his lap, your dress hiking up as your legs were on each side of his thighs. Your fingers tangle in his blonde hair gaining a whimper from him. If you concentrated hard enough you could feel his cock growing within his trousers.
When you tugged away after pecking his lips once more, you couldn’t believe that you two just did this. You never went beyond this but you could feel the warmth in between your thighs that you could help but roll your hips upon Canute’s lap as if you were in heat. Canute picks you up and places you on the bed in the corner of the room. He pulls the shirt over his hand throwing it to the ground and he leans over to help discard you of your clothing. From the dress you borrowed from Estrid to the undergarments that you felt embarrassed that he was seeing you in.
You were still in your mind that this will complicate everything. You can get married and if your future husband figures you weren’t pure, what would he think. Would you not be worthy of marriage anymore?
Your arm snakes around your bare body as you sat on your knees to stare up at Canute. With just the dimly lit candle giving the both of you light—he looked stunning in this manner. His blonde hair fell in his face. His bare chest was toned from the endless training and dueling.
“Let me see you, Y/N,” Canute says as he toys with the strings that were holding up his trousers that were barely containing the bulge of need for you.
Your skin heated immediately at his words as you slowly removed your arms around your naked body. Your skin is garnished with goosebumps feeling the slight breeze that swirled around Canute's chambers. The bed sinks due to Canute's weight and as your body is being pushed down so the warmth of fur that was placed neatly on the bed engulfed your body. The softness of the fur kissed your skin as minutes went by of heated kisses and spit being swapped. Your body tensed up at the feeling of Canute lining himself up with your drooling entrance. Your breath hitched in your throat before letting out a breathy sigh.
"Just relax," Canute says through pecks on your neck.
For some reason, those subtle pecks calmed the tumultuous thoughts that swam around your mind. They were so loud until Canute's lips kissed your skin. As if he locked them thoughts away for you because they bothered you. The piercing pain of him pushing his cock inside you made you grasp upon the first thing you could. His strong forearms being it as your nails punctured at his skin and your eyes instantly closed. In the moment of your eyes closing and the only thing you can see is pure darkness, you were counting down the seconds to bypass the pain.
Canute's light-colored eyes stared down at you, his hips halting from moving forward just because he didn't want to hurt you. You were too precious to go through this pain.
"Look at me, Y/N."
With a tear decorating your lash line the sight you saw when you opened your eyes made you feel all warm inside all over again. Your felt butterflies replace the sharp feeling of his cock sliding in you bit by bit. Your teeth nibbled down on your lower lip bracing yourself physically for more of what he was giving out.
"I can stop. You—"
"No, please continue." You interrupt your head lifts from the pillow below you and lean in to kiss him.
Canute meets you halfway gracefully, willingly. Entrapping your lips with his so greedily that he didn't want it to end. Through the kiss, his hips moved forward slowly until finally, he bottomed down inside of you. Your fingers clutched so tightly that it was beginning to draw blood from his pale skin. Your eyes couldn't help but invert in between the space of your naked bodies. Once again feeling embarrassed by the blood that stained the sheets.
Canute's finger grasped upon your chin to shift your head to look at him. Your eyes were trapped in a trance with Canute's and soon the sharp feeling between your thighs turned into pleasure. Your lips gasped apart to croak out a moan just in time for the last couple of strokes Canute put in. His fingertips dance alongside your thighs as he eagerly pushes them apart to be closer to you. The sweet tune of your moans is like music to him that he would adore waking up to in the morning instead of the annoying plans of conquering another piece of land.
To you, Canute was taking something so precious away from you. Something that should have been given to your husband. He was your first. This moment is bound to imprint on your brain until you leave, until you're married, have kids, and so on. But the thing is, you were Canute's first also. Granted, it wasn't anyone's business who the King fucks and fondles. But, Canute didn't have time for that—maybe he was overthinking that being a factor of falling down the same road of his wicked father that haunts him today.
On some lonely evenings, Canute felt like he was suffocating from his own power. Day by day he gains more power and he realized that it'll get lonely on top. So, the soft comfort coming from you calmed him for some reason. The sound of his father's cruel voices in his head silenced each time he looked at you from afar and now as he bucked his hips forward slowly. His breathing hitched in his throat due to the feeling of you clutching around him wonderfully. Your name flies off his tongue like a foreign word and you enjoyed every second of it.
Your back arches off the bed when the pace of Canute's thrusting slowly increases. It wasn't too much to cause more pain from clawing in between your thighs, but it was enough to have you moaning and tugging him closer to your sweated-coated body. Your legs lock around his waist in the sense that you were afraid if you let go this moment would stop. Your moans echoed in his ear as his lips kissed and bite on your neck.
"You're making your King feel so amazing," His words send a chill down your spine so intense, you felt your cunt pulse around his cock.
Hearing those words causes a pit of fire to light in the pit of your stomach. Your hips slowly buck upward for more of the pleasurable feeling that this was giving. You knew the King had ears and eyes everywhere, but you wouldn't suspect him of being a mind reader too. As if he read your mind that you were unraveling below his strong body he teases you just enough to cause your body to vibrate in a fit of orgasms. Your thighs quiver while his hips gravitate forward completely making love to you through the foreign feeling you felt at the moment. It didn't take long for him to follow suit with you. Not wasting the time of cumming inside of you. His thrusting grew as sloppy as the mess in between your thighs. His cum coated his own cock as he greedily thrust inside you some more ensuring his cum doesn't leak out of you.
With Canute back hitting the bed next to you, the two of you were silent. Your limbs felt numb and your heart bounces around your chest like it is trying to escape. You rolled over and placed your head on his chest before looking up at him, admiring his exhausted face. "I should get something to clean us up." You lift up slowly but Canute gently tugs you back down.
If you were being honest, you wanted to make an escape.
"As your King, I want you to lay down and rest." His eyes flutter open to look down at you.
You chuckle at his words. "Ah, the tired King is going to tell me what to do." Sarcasm oozes from your tone. "Get some rest," You move closer and peck the corner of his lips innocently.
Just enough to tease him and have you gracefully bless his dreams.
As drowsiness wavered over the naked King next to you. You couldn't help but rush to gather your clothes. Your body ached from head to toe and you were surely going to cherish the warm bath in the morning. However, you rather be safe and sound in your own chambers than have to explain to anyone why you were in King Canute's bed chambers so early. You blew the candle that was the minimal light for the two of you during your sexual actions out. Just as you were about to make your exit, you could hear Canute's faded words.
