A little girl’s Christmas was ruined when her elderly rabbit passed away. The girl advocates for rabbits everywhere even though she’s only 8 years old. So a few days before Christmas, Papa hoomin is going to reward her rabbit advocacy be delivering Corey Glover to her as a nod from the Great Rabbit and tell her that Corey will be with her for many years to come. It is good. Hi, you can call me Pink! I had an embarrassing day. Oh, I had a lovely ride in the Bunny Limo with Papa hoomin as chauffeur. But then I met the new bunny vet and she called PH over and showed him that I’m not a boy like the lady said who left me behind. And Mama hoomin OBVIOUSLY didn’t check me thoroughly when I got here or I’d have been spared such embarrassment! But MH is busy, you know? I still love her and let me tell you, now she understands why I like my neighbor, Billy Idol! He and I sing to each other the songs of our people! Well, I need my beauty rest. So the little girl who lost Jezzie the Sanctuary bunny (plus two other elderly girl buns in the last 14 months) now knows little Corey Glover will be coming to be her bunny but doesn’t know when. Both she and Corey can heal together as Corey came here because his brother escaped their hutch and disappeared, presumed dead. Corey will have a friend in Everett the Leveret who was adopted to the same family earlier this year. They may even be able to be bonded. They should both be around a long time and send this gal off to college! Dear friends, please send some of your warmest, most loving thoughts and well wishes to Bright Eyes Sanctuary Rabbit Jezzie. She is very special to Mama and Papa hoomin and also to Joe and Linda and their two wonderful children. Jezzie had a molar trim recently and has since developed a possible UTI or kidney infection. She is not eating well on her own and is showing signs of bladder pain. She also won’t eat the Sherwood Health pellets I requested she be switched to but I will reiterate this later today. She just turned 10 years old in October. Thank you very much.
