Does your muse have compassion towards others?
Considering all the times she’s been almost brutally murdered by bots she was trying to help, I’d say that’s an affirmative.

Admittedly, the feathers were not as soft as Tarn had originally envisioned. However, the exquisite bliss of satisfaction laid not in the physical sensation derived, but in the act itself, and the charming reaction in response to his uninvited petting.
“Whatever impression might you mean?” Tarn shuttered his optics, and quirked his helm with a slight gape too wide and glittering with mirth for its facade of innocence to pass as even the remotest true. “Just trying my hand at casual friendliness. That’s all.”
When did you first become aware of your... peculiar abilities, commander?
Its manifestation happened long before the war. In hindsight, it had been gradual, but at the time, I’d felt as though it had simply...sprung up overnight. The cacophony of shrieks that no one else could hear was deafening, and I was convinced I'd contracted a strange virus. Many visits to well-reputed medical professionals later, I was informed of the peculiar nature of my affliction, and its unfortunate lack of cure. Needless to say, my familiars alienated me further, afraid they’d die the same way I’d murdered my attendants by accident.
...My attendants were the only ones who still cared for me, despite the risk. But I made sure, after the onset of war, that my familiars perished too.

I often wonder how the shifting feathery mechanisms feel against the digit.

She was busy reading her catalog when the bell posted above the door rang. Blackguard quietly sighed as she looked up from her datapad to give the mech a once over.
Femme frame, flashy colors, bright optics, wheels were located in the heels; Definitely a Velocitronian. Probably looking for mods or decals. The only decals Mixracks was willing to carry in the shop were tame compared to what most racers wanted, and the mods would require special ordering which could take weeks to receive. This mech was going to be a walk away.
Blackguard let out another sigh as she hid the datapad under the counter and waited for the femme to make their move. They hummed as they glanced around the store, then at her, then around the store again, then back to her. Something in their optics brightened as they stared at her and when Blackguard raised her optical ridge the femme rolled - not walked, rolled - up to the counter. They smiled as they passed right by her, spinning around with more grace than she initially thought they had so their optics weren’t off her for more than a second. A small part of her was hoping they would crash into the shelves they were rolling towards but the femme easily made the turn into the aisle and disappeared. “Hmph.” Amused by their display, Blackguard leaned across the counter and rested her chin into a hand, waiting for them to return.
She didn’t have to wait long. They were still wearing that smile when they came rolling around the other end of the aisle. “Is there something I can get for you?” She asked when the femme came rolling by the counter again.
“That depends,” they answer, spinning themselves around before they got too far away from her. “Do you believe in love at first sight?”
“Wh-What?” Blackguard jolted up.
“Do you believe in love at first sight?” They repeated, their smile never faltering.
“I…” Her rotors twitched nervously. “I don’t know?”
“Hm.” Finally the smile dropped, but only for a moment. “Should I roll by again then? Pretend like the first drive by didn’t happen and this is the first time?”
Blackguard snorted. “Oh Primus.”
“I’m not hearing a nooo~” They inched towards the door, as if they were going to go through with the plan.
“Are you serious right now?”
“I’m very serious.” They came to a stop in front of her and leaned across the counter. “What’s your name, cutie?”
“It’s Blackguard,” she ‘smiled’ at them as she canted her helm. “And you?”
“I’m Quickshaft.”
“Well, it’s very nice to meet you Quickshaft. Now, is there something I can help you with?”
“Yeah. Where’s the best place to take a cute bot like you out for a date?”

You know you’d like it.
capaxauctoritas said: “I wouldn’t go so far as to do that… but the temptation is there.”
“Indeed.”

primus how terrifying
They are not terrifying. They are the fruit of my hours of laborious effort and they are the most adorable organics to ever live in this cosmos and beyond.
