it continues to amaze me how difficult it is for "certain people" and media (who are supposed to be serious and professional) to digest the fact that Sam Wilson is captain america, that today captain america is black. Hollywood reporter said in a series of tweets everything but that Sam Wilson IS CAPTAIN AMERICA. Not only has it been THREE YEARS since Sam Wilson's character was given the shield at the end of Endgame, we had a series that dealt in its entirety with the doubts sam had in taking the shield and the prejudices, stereotypes and barriers that Sam wilson faces ( and will face in the future) as a black skinned captain america, in fact Sam Wilson becomes captain america with the mission to combat all these prejudices. It is not enough for them that in the last episode of the series we even had the change from "falcon and the winter soldier" to "captain america and the winter soldier" in order to reflect Wilson's path in the series . Even Chris evans himself had to answer the tweets to Hollywood reporter to ""clarify"" the situation. As much as so many people say that Sam's speech and the themes of racism in "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" were forced and "taken out of nowhere", as much as so many people and media continue to fuss and tantrum over a black Captain America proves that the speech scene WAS RIGHT. Once again it proves that Hollywood is a racist, discriminatory and hypocritical company, that the media appropriates anti-racism movements when IT SUITS THEM and that even in 2022 black skinned actors and actresses ( or in general actors or actresses who belong to minorities) are discriminated against. Disappointed but not surprised????
