I just realised something about Season 4

So in the scene where Tucker refers to Tex as “Bitchpants McCrabby”, Caboose says that he calls her “Mrs. McCrabby.”

Mrs. As in, she’s married.

Caboose is also at least vaguely aware that Church and Tex are/were an item in some way.

Church is also an extremely crabby person. 

What’s the betting that Caboose thinks Church’s name is “Church McCrabby?”

It actually really bothers me when people overlook that Caboose was actually just an ignorant rookie when he first got to Blood Gulch, and that he was viciously brutalized by a bunch of rogue AI. Like Church actively destroys parts of Caboose’s mind and memory because he’s careless, and Omega is in there for ages and we don’t know what he’s been doing, and there’s a big shootout between Tex and Church and Omega, and then all of a sudden Caboose is. Well Caboose as we know him.

Caboose is severely, severely brain damaged, and the fandom overlooks that because his friends treat it like its nothing and play it off for comedy, and because it doesn’t bother him and he’s still a relatively valuable member of the team it works well in the show. But in fandom when they write it into his backstory that he was always like that, it bothers me, because its canon that its not and it overlooks a really large piece of who Michael J. Caboose really is.
