more Cap Chromium limitation ideas but I have several so it’ll be in a list:
is his hair ‘invincible’ too? What if he’s dealing with a fire prodigy and they blast him with a ray of flames- his body will be fine probably but will his hair burn? his clothes too? Bro imagine he’s in public when this happens and now he’s bald and naked I’d actually never show my face again
similar to the ‘spice’ idea, can he get stomach problems from eating something rotten? Would giving him laxatives actually trap him in the bathroom for a couple hours or will it do nothing…
on that note what about allergies or stuff like the flu? Is his immune system made out of chromium too?
are his teeth made out of chromium? Could he bite into a slab of cement and actually tear off a chunk without losing any?
can I blast mega loud metal music into his ears and his eardrums remain unaffected even after long periods of time?
Repeating what Nova herself was wondering at some point- can abilities that affect others through touch (like her putting others to sleep) affect the Captain or would the chromium skin nullify any powers?

we know that he’s resistant to physical heat (chugging a boiling cup of coffee with no reaction and moving burned library structures with his bare hands), but what about spicy heat? Could he eat a ghost pepper and feel indifferent to its mega hot flavor?
There’s a good chance that SOMEONE could’ve tested it out at some point (like just putting an entire bottle of hot sauce into Hugh’s soup to see how he reacts)

Guys I know that executing a teenage girl is bad, but me personally if i find out that the same person who's been trying to kill my handsome husband is also a part of my biggest oppositions (anarchists) and been terrorizing my friends and employees and also made my intelligent awesome son fall in love with her only to absolutely decimate his heart and steal both his and MY stuff and also apparently try to kill my other beautiful baby son that I no longer have access to be near because my freaking immune necklace is GONE id actually take matters into my own hands and slime her out myself

I mostly wanted to mention the times Max or Adrian referred to their dads on a first-name basis
I’m thinking that it’s more of a cultural thing though, because I can’t imagine talking about my parents to my friends or anyone else by their name instead of ‘my mom’ or ‘my dad’ because it feels like there’s an imaginary barrier blocking the strength implied in the parent-child relationship (not sure if this makes sense) BUT THEN AGAIN THAT MIGHT JUST BE A ME THING AND THEYRE FAMILY DYNAMIC IS PERFECTLY FINE FOR THEM
Even worse when it comes to ‘bonding’ with Max- because the only one that can get a physical bond with him as his father is Hugh and even then I doubt that a visit or two everyday in the quarantine is enough to establish a secure father-son dynamic
I might be overthinking but it could explain why Adrian mentioned in the first(?) book that his dads have a lot of traditions that they do together as if to imply that they need to do these things to feel like a family
I love remembering that Blacklight was at MOST 13 years old when he joined the renegades AS AN OG MEMBER and was also the one that gave them their official group name
Some gang member robbing a shop and they run into Captain Chronium, and as he’s towering over them about to beat their ass there’s just some kid behind him going “yeah WE are going to stop you!!” As harmless flicks of light shoot out of his hands 💔
imagine the council during the age of anarchy trying to figure out any limitations to Captain Chronium’s invincibility- do you think at some point they would’ve tested his eyes? Like squeezing a lemon into them and seeing what happens
