Data’s Promotion
This is my imagining of Data promoted to Captain in my Hiraeth fic AU.
He is posing for an inaugural portrait with Spot in an Art Deco setting, which I imagine he would find "very acceptable" lol...
The inspiration/references used come from the hotel I stayed at in Bath and a screencap from the "Chain of Command" episode.
Also I had a mini meltdown during the creation of this as I stupidly used drawing paper not mixed media in error! so was limited in what techniques and materials I could use. I uttered curses and frustrations continuously until I finished and found to my surprise that it turned out OK.
NGL the correct substrate would have given me more latitude but given the botch up it's not a bad result lol...
