You wanna know what's amazing about Hook in Peter Pan and the Pirates. I swear to go when he's insulting some of what he says could actually be replaced with legit curse words.
Like how in Episode 3, "River of Night", he calls Mullins, "a chicken-hearted son of a Brooklyn broom-bandit"
Like what the hell? Hook's been in Brooklyn.
They must have a lot of fun creating child-friendly cursing for Hook.
I kinda wish they'd do the same with Tink especially since it's cannon she has kind of a foul mouth lol.
Dear Captian James Hook,
I have finished reading the story of you and your lovely sorceress and I have but one inquiry, will there ever be more? I have found myself lost in dreams of the sea air buzzing with magic. It must be a pleasant feeling and I find myself filled with envy and longing. Please write back when you have the chance. Thank you, Captian for letting your story be told to the world.
Sincerely,
Mae
Dear Mae,
Firstly, permit me the opportunity to offer our sincere gratitude for your kind words. My sorceresses and I are always pleased to hear such acceptance of our story.
As to your question, our answer reads as thus: While there are no solid plans of when the next installment will arrive, there is plenty of our tale already crafted. Should new chapters be shared with the Neversea or beyond, proper announcements shall be made.
I hope this reply proves acceptable and that your dreams continue to be as adventurous as ever.
Kind Regards,
Jas. Hook, Captain.
Unending List of Favorite Characters - C is for Captain James Hook
“His eyes were of the blue of the forget-me-not, and of a profound melancholy, save when he was plunging his hook into you, at which time two red spots appeared in them and lit them up horribly. In manner, something of the grand seigneur still clung to him, so that he even ripped you up with an air, and I have been told that he was a raconteur of repute. He was never more sinister than when he was most polite, which is probably the truest test of breeding; and the elegance of his diction, even when he was swearing, no less than the distinction of his demeanor, showed him one of a different cast from his crew.”
apparently these are more effective now so...
Please reblog this if you are willing to / would like to role-play with a strictly book based Captain James Hook from J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan.
thank you uvu
