Prompt: hey, i wondered what your headcanons were for how the Star Wars FA characters would act if they had children, and like if there would be differences in how they treated them if they had a son or daughter? can you do Poe, Kylo, Hux and Rey please xxx love your blog (i am on anon because I am scared of everything) Requested by: Anonymous Finn: Honestly here's where I think the first order benefitted him: he would instill a sense of morality and duty in his children. His own defecting from what he was taught was right would directly effect his parenting style. He would instill the active idea that doing what's right is most important in his child or children. That and their own safety- at least until their old enough to make some choices- are his biggest priorities as a parent. Hux: If he had a son he would be strict, but never as ruthless or cruel as his father was to him. Honestly I think he might be more lenient on a son than a daughter because of his own childhood abuse. Any children he had would be brought up with love, but sternness. His children would always know that they are loved and supported but they would be given all of the tools to be just as educated and well trained in combat and survival as their parents. Kylo: I think gender would be less of a difference in a child but whether or not they were force sensitive. If thy were force sensitive he would be more than a parent but also a teacher to his child and make them learn all that he knows. Regardless of force sensitivity though, he doesn't think he got what he deserved out of his parents, so he would take an active role in making sure he did not do the same to his offspring. Phasma: She would be very strict and authoritative with children, but never let them think they weren't loved. If they wanted to practice music, she would make sure they had regimented lessons and practice time and make sure they were excelling, for example. Everything would be on a tight schedule and spreadsheet. Poe: Poe would be one of those parents where his kids could do anything they want as long as they do well in their education and aren't disrespectful or mean. His home would be the happiest madhouse and he would support his children endlessly. I don't think the gender of the child would matter much, but rather how many children he had. If he had an only child he would totally spoil the shit out of them Rey: I think she would be a lot like Poe, but also a bit like a helicopter mom. She could possibly get a little overbearing but she would be very transparent in why: love and the compensation for the abandonment she suffered as a child. What they smell like:Strawberries and cream. A very light scent.
How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc): she sleeps curled up around a pillow very soundly all night. Has the cutest bedhead

-Twice a week after the daily duties aboard the finalizer were over, you and Phasma would get together and hang out for the night. You worked as a high ranking officer in information gathering and translations on the bay and spent hours in front of a computer or meeting with the General about so it was always nice to unwind. She feels very similarly after the helmet comes off.
-All of the gossip gets swapped. Phasma hears everything the storm troopers hear and you get all the news from other officers. There’s a lot of juicy gossip when everyone is on a ship together. There’s certain people the two of you follow up on for drama.
-Stormtrooper drama isn’t as crazy or petty as officer drama so often she’s stopping you between sleepovers to keep her posted on some of the quicker developing gossip.
-She knows about your crush on Hux before you even do, and tells you stuff about him all the time.
-She tells you how to draw his attention in subtle ways, such as perfumes to wear or certain topics that interest you both for talking points
-She also does the same for Hux, although not as friendly as she does for you. She likes playing matchmaker and does it for her troopers as well, though she knows it’s pretty forbidden.
-The day after either of you have a date you make brunch together and talk about everything
-The two of you have inside jokes that drive Kylo and Hux INSANE. There are times during meetings where the two of you will share a look and burst out laughing. Both men know that if they say anything, the two of you will roast them so they prefer to stay silent.
