Your love language was definitely touch, and it made you someone people were inherently comfortable around

You could make any new member to your small resistance crew feel welcomed and like family

Lots of hugs to greet people, something that Finn especially cherished and something he even started initiating, especially with Poe and Rey

Finn grew up in the First Order 100% touch starved so something like a hug was so comforting to him and something he cherished

You and Finn also always have a habit of touching/hold hands when things get tense, mostly as a way to ground each other

You had a habit of always falling asleep on other people, usually leaning your head on their shoulder and nodding off before you even realized it

Let's see:

Kurt would often cuddle up next to Sam on the couch while Finn and Sam play Video games like, idk, Mario Kart or COD or something. And Kurt would 'accidentally' nudge Finn in the side or whatever to get him to like, fall off of Rainbow Road, or miss a headshot, ultimately making Sam win.

Here's a (very very very) far off scene I've written for my OC rewrite series based on that lol:

Erin hung back as she watched Kurt join Sam and Finn on the living room couch, curling into Sam’s side before subtly leaning over to nudge Finn’s shoulder causing his cart to swerve off of the track. Finn started to curse up a storm, jostling Kurt and Sam back as they laughed... ...Sam and Kurt cheered as Sam’s cart crossed the finish line and Finn tried to toss his Wii remote at the TV but it got stuck as he had the strap around his wrist - for this very reason, he liked throwing things when he lost.

Sam likes resting his head on Kurt's lap while Kurt reads Vogue or whatever on the couch, absentmindedly running his fingers through Sam's hair.

Kurt snuggles into Sam's side a lot, like burrows into him, and Sam automatically wraps his arm around him.

Kurt is always on Sam's left hand side, idk why, but he is.

Even if they aren't together in S3 they would both sit close on the couch at the Hudmels and basically snuggle. There were multiple times where they would fall asleep like that and Finn would snap a picture for blackmail (after Finn died Kurt found those pictures on his phone and broke down crying)

Sneak peak of a scene of Sam hugging Kurt in the next chapter of my OC glee rewrite fic One More New Direction:

Kurt took a deep breath. “Karofsky’s coming back tomorrow.” He said, and the Glee Club erupted in noise. “What the hell?” Mercedes shouted. “Hijo de las Mil Putas!” Santana began shouting in Spanish. “But he was expelled!” Quinn said. Kurt just stood still at the front of the room as everyone shouted looking detached from the situation and Erin felt her heart ache in her chest. He didn’t deserve to feel so scared. “We’re not going to let anything happen to you.” Sam said as he stood and walked towards Kurt, gathering him up in a tight hug. Kurt looked shocked at the contact but eventually untensed and returned the hug, hiding his reddening face in Sam’s shoulder.

I haven't written anything in WTNY(ibwfy) with them hugging yet, so I can't drop a sneak peak of that BUT I will tell you there is a plan based on the song You Are In Love, specifically the lyrics:

So... I had a thought.

Basically: Finn has a crush for the first time.

They don’t want to talk to their moms about it yet because they know Catra and Adora would bombard that person with questions and do a full background-check to make sure that whoever it is is good enough for their baby.

They also don’t want to talk to uncle Bow or auntie Glimmer because, while they love them, they’re afraid this might end with some detailed sex ed and that Glimmer’s and Bow’s kids could overhear the conversation and maybe the others even know who that person is and who knows how that would end.

So instead, they go meet with auncle DT to talk about it.

Of course Double Trouble teases Finn relentlessly, and then they startle the fuck out of Finn by actually shapeshifting into the person that Finn has a crush on.

DT then tells Finn to practice telling their crush about their feelings now that they look like said crush.

“But I know you’re not them, auncle DT. That’s not the same thing!”

“Exactly! It’s called acting, Finn. And we both know we’re good at that. I just tried to make the situation a bit more... realistic so you get used to confessing your feelings to this face. Now... pretend I’m actually them, and go ahead and tell me whatever you want to tell them.“

“But... what if I mess it up?”

“It doesn’t matter if you do. This is just the first rehearsal, remember? You can screw up as many times as you want, and we can practice this as often as you need to so you can to nail the actual performance. Plus, the longer this takes, the more I can charge your parents for babysitting.”

Double Trouble winks.

“We both know you’re just doing this because you like spending time with me, auncle DT. But don’t worry, I’m not going to tell anyone.” Finn chuckles and winks. “For a price.”

Anakin - angry drunk. Thinks everyone is talking shit about him when literally no one is. Doesn’t throw punches (most of the time) but gets very passive aggressive.

Obi-Wan - reckless drunk. Jumps off buildings. Suddenly is a parkour expert. Has to be convinced not to eat a whole cactus.

Cassian - happy drunk. Very outgoing and smiley and conversational. Has an arm slung around your shoulders the entire time.

Luke - infantile drunk. Gets clingy and pouty. Acts very childish. Can’t fall asleep unless he gets tucked in.

Han - sad drunk. Needs to be held and validated. Dry cries. Doesn’t remember anything in the morning—and if he does, he denies it.

Mando - sober drunk. You can’t even tell that he’s drunk except for the occasional slur of speech.

Poe - affectionate drunk. Cuddling everything and everything. Might shed a few tears if you try to escape his grasp.

Finn - naked drunk. He loses an article of clothing with each drink.

Kylo Ren - sleazy drunk. Constantly hitting on everything that moves—and some things that don’t.

Hux - musical drunk. Starts singing after the first couple of drinks and doesn’t stop until he’s out cold. Doesn’t like dueting.

okay are we doing single dad!finn headcanons? I think we are. some of them are kinda modern au but like just ignore that

he is the SOFTEST dad. calls his kid his ‘best friend’ because they are pals and there’s nothing in the world that could get between them

big cleaning days are fun because they are always goofing around -- they take forever to get done, but they are laughing the whole time

the most encouraging ever. he is always hyping his kid up ALWAYS FOR EVERY LITTLE THING THEY DO!

new outfit? he’s telling them how fashionable they are

they made him some silly fingerpaint art? it’s not only framed but he makes them sign it because “its gonna be worth millions one day” 

they want dance/karate/art/whatever lessons? not only is the kid signed up but finn is also learning everything he can so he can understand and engage in conversations about it with them

not only does he let the kid climb into his lap but they fall asleep like that all the time watching shows or reading or whatever they are doing they fall asleep comfortably settled and snuggling his sweet baby because they are his whole world and knowing they are safe with him makes him so at ease

you know how kids pretend to be asleep so someone will carry them? he can always tell when they’re faking but he never says anything just scoops them up and carries them to their room 

he is that dad that checks in. opens up the door after they fall asleep and peeks his head in and just looks for a little while because damn that’s his kid

he gets tired because being a single parent can be really overwhelming and feel like a lot of pressure but he always has a warm smile and a joke to tell even on the hardest days 

he knows he is doing a good job when on one of those really hard days his kid tries so hard to be helpful and attempts to make dinner. they make a huge mess and almost burn down the house but he can’t even be mad he’s just so proud of how considerate and sweet his kid is

the jokes dude. they’re ridiculous. they’re so bad they’re good

he’s sitting at the table telling his kid this outlandish story and the kid is like “there’s no way that happened you’re lying”

and finn... my darling dearest man... says “im not lying, i’m OBVIOUSLY sitting” 

he definitely cries on their first day of school 

he makes a joke that they are “tears of joy” cuz he gets a little break but he misses them after the first hour they are gone 

he just wants to do stuff with his little family 

adventures, because the only thing im accepting from TLJ is that way finn gets so damn excited about how fun and glitzy canto bight is and so he LOVES to go to new places and just see what the hell is going on

and to see his lil baby’s face light up when they see something SO COOL 

disneyland. just imagine finn and his kid at disneyland. im 

he has a mug that says “best dad in the galaxy” that he got once as a gift from the kid (he paid for it and was there when the kid picked it out but its the thought that counts) and he uses it every morning

because he is the bEST DAD in the GALAXY NOBODY TALK TO ME
