Leviathan Wakes notes (should I turn this into a books vs TV show thing? Am I hyperfixating?)

I really like Shaddid's character in the book, so far. I appreciate the reasoning behind her actions. It isn't simple "I'm corrupt and getting paid by this guy, so I'm going to fire you." It's actually "The government is collapsing, Mars may vaporize this place if we don't do something quick, and I can't trust a depressed man who spends 3/4 of his day drinking. I may be corrupt, but at least we get shit done and we try to save people."

I love Miller, I do. But, I mean... she ain't wrong. This is so. much. better.
