I think something that's really funny is that I'm lowkey Captain Hook kin (not from OUAT--from the Disney animated movie) & my pal is kin with Peter Pan but we get along great??? In fact we tend to be kin with enemies/opposites from most of our sources but we're great friends.
ive been kin with captain hook for years now and after discovering this pirate show from disney im actually pretty disgusted, because they just decided to give me a girlfriend or love interest for no reason? she has no character to her and shes just some generic girl pirate, not to mention i was gay in my canon and they just decide to erase that and make me straight because kids show? because sensitive straight parents? because apparently we need a love interest or the goddamn world will implode
