I think hate is a strong word, and I don't like using it, but, I absolutely hate it when people compare me to Asriel. It makes me feel like a replacement. Like when Asriel can be there for Kris again, they'll forget me and I'll be alone again. I really dont want to be alone.

I hate that kin has become a ‘for fun’ trend. People who “kin” for fun/coping STILL make fun of spiritual kin, say we’re “taking kin too seriously”, conflate kinning with choice (“if you kin villains you must relate to them so you’re abusive!”) or mock us for explaining what kin actually is (ie that “kinning” for coping isn’t kinning, it’s copinglink, etc) Like.. we’re taking it as seriously as we always have, as it was always meant to be. You took it from Us; why should we abide by YOUR rules?

I'm scared I won't find my chat because In my canon marionette (hello hi) is chubby and she became a fashion designer to focus on cute plus sized clothes and that's the main reason she is so shy out of costume .

... the issue I, personally, have about the whole 'kin for fun' kinnie stuff is that I'm spiritual, I had past lives, I have these memories, so I get.. excited, happy when I think I found someone? I see the names of those I used to know, I wonder if they are from my canon, or maybe they're from another universe altogether, how much do we have in common, what was different for them - and then I find out, oh, huh, they're just. Messing around.

Taking the name of someone I used to know, and pretending. In another few months they'll drop it because they get bored, or have moved on to some other interest/fandom, or they just don't like the 'character' anymore.

It's... disheartening. I think I see someone, found someone, but. Not at all.

Do what you want, I guess. Twist words that were not meant to change their meaning, slide right on in with using them in a way that will surely confuse others who know their original meaning. Play pretend before dropping it when you lose interest, ditching people who's own personal beliefs, whether spiritual or otherwise, are more set in stone than yours.

It's fine. "Communities change." "It's not that deep."

Don't you just hate it when fandom waters down your entire character based on a single, out of canon remark the creator said? :) My entire arc, the reason I did anything, my whole family and friend network, gone. All I'm known as is a fucking trope! Hate it here!!

oh my god tfw u lost touch w an old friend and they show up after a year and theyve kinfirmed ur highest "kin" thats so high and so ingrained into your identity that you barely consider it a kin at all. and they even have their canonical s/o slash canonmate that you've been looking for for yourself. i feel so sick lmao i didnt need this today, not signing off bc they might figure out who i am but im gonna go lay down and try to forget abt this

I don't have anything against K0mah1na or its shippers, it's a fine shiop and I enjoy it alright, but like... Sometimes I wish it was a little less popular. Everytime I search for fics of literally any other ship it seems like that one is always included, or at least referenced, and it's super annoying. That's just not how it was in my canon and it annoys me to no end to see those two together all the time.
