Continued my adventures with some captive ring rattles. This one is finished with a homemade beeswax finish that I made today.

How the beeswax finish was made is below the break

So for the beeswax finish, it was pretty straightforward, I took some beeswax I had on a shelf and melted it with some food grade mineral oil to create some forbidden butter like substance

Once it was fully melted I adjusted the oil and wax amounts by spooning a bit onto a jam jar to let it cool and then decided if it needed more oil (thin it out) or more wax(thicken it)

Finally after I was happy with it I poured it into a jar to cool.
