tbh, our theory makes a lot of sense, especially considering Keiko's travel path. He moved from Iceland in the summer, as the Northern Isles orca do. Off he pops to find them! But he didn't go far enough down to Shetland. No, instead he went to the Faroes and who could he have met there? Why, the North Sea orca! 

They like to follow trawler boats because well, the fishies. And hop skip, Keiko is used to following boats from his time in Iceland, yes? So he swims with the North Sea guys but when they hop off, he keeps following the boat because well, he's used to it, no? And doop di do, he ends up in a Norwegian Fjord.

I don't think people realise how loud construction of BWP will be. Piled foundations are most likely going to be used and they are loud, especially if they're really deep. And I don't mean loud as in some kids down the road got a really loud stereo. I mean like somebody building a new house inside your house

I mean, I have problems with the Corky release idea because good jesus christ, her teeth and probs her health and gah, but if this about 'she might not integrate into her pod like Keiko' I will school you so hard, you'll have a degree in 'I was incorrect'-ology

Fun Fact: When I first saw the Blackfish trailer I thought it was a joke because I literally didn't believe people kept killer whales in captivity. I thought they were kidding. It literally seemed so absurd to me, living on an island and growing up with a ton of fishermen who respect the shit out of orca

I am 150% convinced SeaWorld don't know there is a Scottish name, Malina, out there or we would have seen one by now

ok but I have seen literally nobody wish death on Kalia's calf, just people expanding on why many people see the two current juxtaposed situations as 'unfair'

aaaaargh, I not wish harm on any cetaceans, wild or captive because I wouldn't wish harm on anyone unless they literally stab me first but I do stand by the idea that it is unfair that SeaWorld are able to produce a calf every year while the SR's are slipping away

because SeaWorld doesn't need calves in the same way the Southern Residents do. and these two incidences juxtaposing each other as they have has just drawn out a lot of bitterness and anger about the situation
