THIS IS SO FUNNY i just answered these two!!!! but for 5, i’d say i’m also surprised that i wound up writing sidney davis!!! he’s teddy’s boyfriend for a while in college. i’m usually so bad at writing anything other than like Pining With An Eventual Smooch but i ended up really loving writing about teddy liking someone else and falling for him a little bit. it made things feel more realistic. it doesn’t work out in the end, but i’m so glad he’s in the book and he sticks around after he and teddy break up!!!

What would be their favorite physical trait about themselves?byron likes his hands. he likes what they are able to do a lot more than how they look -- he’s not that much of a Looks guy -- because he can use his hands for magic and healing and helping and learning. also there’s a really cool scar on his thumb that he likes. 08. What is, perhaps, their biggest flaw? Are they aware of this or oblivious to it?byron’s biggest flaw is probably that he doesn’t really look at situations as Right and Wrong a lot of the time. for big things like the blight he understands that the blight is wrong and he has to do what he can to help, but he’s much more interested in the pursuit of knowledge and the understanding of the world than he is with Right and Wrong. for example: magic. he sticks his nose into every kind of magical theory he can just because he wants to learn about it and to know about it. even blood magic. (after all, he’ll say, to anyone who’s listening, phylacteries are a form of blood magic and the circle seems just fine using those.)13. What are your character’s sleeping habits? Heavy or light sleeper? Blanket stealer? One that always rolls onto the floor? Pushes their lover onto the floor? Sleep talker or walker?he’s a really light sleeper unless he’s super super tired, and then he’s out like a light. zevran didn’t actually know he was a light sleeper until after the blight was over. once byron wasn’t Super Tired All The Time, he went back to sleeping light, and zev was like ‘what the fuck’. he likes to be touched in his sleep, but not held. it’s a fine line. a hand on his hip is okay, but an arm all the way around him freaks him out.18. What kind of home would they want to live in? Where would they place this abode?he doesn’t want a home. he grew up dalish, and he grew up moving around constantly, a new camping spot every couple months. he tried to settle down, in the early months after the blight, because he thought it would be nice to have a house, and a library, and a place to sleep that wasn’t a tent on the ground, but being still just reminds him of the circle tower and being locked up and having to sneak out to the roof to look at the moon and wonder what his people were doing, and where they were, and if they were safe. so now that the blight is over, he and zev keep moving. it’s good for them: the crows don’t catch up to zev, and they meet a lot of interesting people and do a lot of interesting things. 23. What is your character like when it comes to school? What subjects are they good/bad at? Do they get in trouble a lot or are well behaved?elves in camp offered to teach him magic, but he wanted to learn more than they knew, and volunteered to join the circle. the dalish elves typically aren’t involved with the circle, mostly because dalish magic is more to do with nature and healing than it is with fighting, so byron is the only dalish elf in the tower. the city elves don’t trust him, and neither do the human mages. he doesn’t make many friends. he just devours book after book, learning everything he can. by the time he gets out at twenty-four, he’s like an encyclopedia. 28. If your character became a celebrity, what would they be famous for?saving the world from the blight, probably. or something like that. (he hates being famous, but luckily most people don’t recognize him. pictures were drawn of the group of them after it was all over, but pictures exaggerate, a lot, and so people don’t expect this short elf with messy hair to be the famous grey warden byron who stopped the blight, which suits byron fine.)33. If your character wanted to be alone, where would they go?to a library. any library. zev can’t count the number of times he’s had to go dig byron out of some studies on shapeshifting or surgery assistance with magic and bring him to bed.38. What kind of weather does your character like? Cloudy skies, rainy days, sunshine, etc?he likes hazy summer, when it’s too hot to do anything but lie there. it shuts his brain off a little, and he can just rest, and close his eyes, and feel the heat and the world around him. 43. Does your character have a switch that changes aspects of their personality whether they are around friends, family, etc. Is there someone who gets to see their true self?obviously zev knows him the best, but byron really only has two settings: public and private. publicly, he’s a little odd, but he’s a scholar and a hero and after listening to zev for ten-odd years he can be charming when he wants to be. privately, he’s just endlessly fascinated by everything in the world, mostly magic-wise, but with herbalism and animals and poisons and anything you could think up, too. privately he’s always running his fingers through his hair until it stands on end and he always forgets to eat and he can talk for twenty minutes about shapeshifters before realizing no one cares. 48. Is there anything in particular that would ignite your character’s jealousy? Or does your character not get envious?he isn’t really the jealous type. when other people flirt with zevran or something like that he usually just finds it really funny. mostly because zev gets a polite “what the fuck” look on his face, and it’s hilarious.

Make up

Hulya is pretty good at make up! She only really wears kohl and some lipstick/gloss tho. Anything more and she’d probably have some trouble lol

Cooking

Thanks to her mama, Hulya can cook some! Like simple stews and simple dishes! She can’t do anything really amazing or elaborate but she isn’t incapable. She likes baking more than cooking

Alcohol Tolerance

Despite her height and general physicality, Hulya is kind of a light weight. She isn’t much of a drinker but she does try to go at her own pace when she’s with friends (the few times she’s tried to keep up always ended with her having to be carried lol)
