At this point she may as well have been living in the woods and not in her own home. This time of year, there were going to be a lot of young Pokemon running around; but not particularly because of any breeding. These woods were a popular place for trainers to release unwanted babies. More often than not they were thrown aside simply because they had been born with traditional coloration, rather than the highly sought after shiny-coat.
She had gone out today expecting to coax another ten or fifteen Pokemon into following her home so that she could look after them for the next few weeks. If they wanted to stay wild that would be fine; but more often than not she was able to see them safely re-homed. To say that she was perplexed by what she came across instead of another baby, would be an understatement. This unfamiliar being aside, she was incredibly bothered by the presence of the snare. Namely because it meant that the poachers were up and active again.
She would need to come back through with some equipment to find and remove any other heartless traps. There was no telling how many Pokemon had been caught already. She could only hope that they weren’t hurt and that she would be able to find them before the poachers. She knew those people did not treat the creatures in a very humane manner.
“Are you alright?” She called out, her first desire being to make it clear that she was not there to hurt anyone. As it were she was unarmed, save for a handful of Pokeballs and some treats. She knew the area well and most of the wild Pokemon were accustomed to her presence, so it was incredibly rare for her to be put in any danger. There was just no telling if this would happen to be a situation which put her at risk.
