A Stroke of Lead --------------------- There once was Was there once wasn’t Metaphorically, of course. Be a good Samaritan Hush your cracked lips Make like a boulder Effectively blocking out The carried sounds of howls Voluptuous, in a way. Creating a median Between life and death- Sliding ever so slightly To the side, making way For past meeting present Only to find itself Amidst a paradox in Which it then pushes Forward to the next Boulder blocking out the Gates of another present life. Life. Like life knew what Life was, when it was Transitioning between stages, Replicating in-between budding Taking on shape when The next wouldn’t let Go. Ah yes, tis this I tell the tale to All looking for the answer. They’ll create a sense Of livelihood from the Bonding of two hydrogen And one oxygen, creating Pure water, becoming this Perfect symmetrical bubble representing youth. A virtue, an age seen As the best of years When we still couldn’t Even do what we wished, Hoping to become but becoming. An action entirely different- Self-reflecting back on this Thing we call life, happiness, And the past. Failing to realize, the Present is presence And living in a paradoxical World will only lead To death.
