Hi everyone. I know we’ve all missed @capysnapeart and their wonderful work a lot. I can inform you with all truth that our beloved Capy is alive (I have just talked to them).

But we should give Capy their privacy. It’s not right to repost their art and it’s not right to leak their personal information to the public. I understand it comes from good intentions but please know that it does more harm than good. When people leave a platform, they have their reasons. When people take down their work, they have their reasons. 

And by giving them their privacy, that also means NOT reposting their work and NOT posting their private information online. When you post that online, it stays there forever. And people could do whatever horrible thing they want with that. Not only that, but it’s not your information to post. 

Please, give Capy their space and privacy. It’s nice to have concern for your friends, but they’re taking a break right now and they need us to respect that. Reaching out respectfully in DMs is not an issue- the issue is reposting the artwork and releasing personal information online. If you were planning on doing this or have done this, please stop. Please don’t repost Capy’s artwork and please don’t release their personal information or personal accounts online. Thank you for reading.
