My favorite character
I really like self-destructive Whumpees. Whumpees who would sacrifice themselves for others, who are so protective they may not realize others feel that way about them, who take on so much responsibility or value their own life so little. Whumpee who often ends up putting themselves in harm's way, whether intentionally or not, themselves.
🛏️ Favourite Caretaker archetype?
I adore family Caretakers. Especially when they're siblings (because I love my sibling relationships in whump/media in general). But it can also be parents, uncles, cousins - or Found Family! I prefer my Caretaker to have a really close bond with Whumpee. Regardless if this is through blood or choice. It makes the caretaking hit extra hard for me; the pain of seeing Whumpee hurt, the guilt if it happened to protect Caretaker, the angst and worrying about whether Whumpee will be okay; the complications that can come from their shared past.
