Unfortunately I won’t be participating in the dca cookbook extravaganza because I’m worried I won’t have the time I need to fully do what I want and what is asked for the zine. But I am so so excited for its creation and will be watching closely, I’ve already seen so many talented artists have entered for it!

28: Curse of obedience

“Oh just shut up.”

Leo meant it as a joke and Raph knew that. They didn’t fight the way they used to, not since the Krang when they learned that there's no guarantee of time to apologize.

It was just a silly light hearted argument about whether or not a strawberry pop-tart counted as a daily serving of fruit (Raph believed it did). It shouldn’t have been notable and it wouldn’t have been except when Raph tried to respond his mouth wouldn’t open.

He tried again and again but it was like his mouth was wired shut. There were no restraints, no gag. nothing there physically but he was still stuck. The feeling was familiar in the worst way and no attempt at deep breathing through his nose or grounding was able to hold back the growing panic.

His face must have been communicating something because Raph watched concern paint itself onto Leo’s face.

“Raph? Raph are you okay?”

He wanted to respond, he needed to respond but he couldn’t say anything. His hands reached up to touch his throat hoping somehow the touch would fix this.

Leo’s concern shifted to something more.

“Hey what’s going on? Are you okay?” Leo asked, launching himself off his place on the couch and closer to Raph, his expression quickly mirroring the same panic Raph was feeling.

“Raph say something!”

And then the block was gone. Not only was it gone but he couldn’t keep his mouth shut if he tried as words tumbled out.

“Leo,” Raph said, breathing heavily and trying to not think too hard about the lack of control that scared him so much and was so terrifyingly familiar.

“Leo, I think something’s wrong.”

i think steven has no fucking idea where that little pyramid paperweight came from. i don’t even think he knows if it is a paperweight honestly- 

i mean, look at his face??  the face of a man who has several other, bigger priorities (his wife (???) his currently hiding somewhere in his flat and he has two police officers poking their noses thru his stuff ((bite kill shred dont go through other people’s things pls)) and he’s seeing weird bird bone mummy monsters and there’s an angry bitchy american man living inside him-) being asked about something as inconsequential as what any of his given knickknacks are or why he has them...

(aside: the funny thing is, i bet steven would love to go into what exactly any one item in his flat is or why he has it or what it does, etc.  i think if layla had asked that question we would’ve gotten a vastly different response- i bet steven could’ve told us what all the markings meant, why he bought it and where and what other interesting stuff had caught his eye at the time, i mean. it’s steven.)

as for my own personal ideas... i think jake is big on collecting things. i’ll hafta do my little jake headcanons (someone ask me or @mrcspectr who hissyfit is) in another post bc there just. are way too many.... but i like to think jake picks out a lot of things when he’s on his daily nightly grind, whether it’s a collectable item for steven or marc’s preferred scentless shampoo doesn’t make a difference bc he ‘collects’ these items for his boys with the same intentions. <3

me writing multiverse of madness be like

so that dude from the end credits of doctor strange goes around taking sources powers then doctor strange and Wong find him then have a fight he opens a portal and leaves, while that happens wanda is trying to fight of the darkhold that tries to corrupt her then vision shows up they have a soft moment but its not her actual vision so that is a bit rough then she manages to find her children but they are from another world so when she finds a way to go there the whole multiverse get a bit unstable and like Wanda finds her other version and they have a conversation then, there's a whole moment, and like wanda gets throw away because messing around with the multiverse is bad so then she find doctor stranger there too and maybe peter and like loki and they all go into a trial and like, wanda gets annoyed of this all and finds a way to escape then, doctor strange get stopped by other version of him, while wong tries to clean the mess that whatever doctor strange did after the far from home, and like loki also escapes and cause chaos hmm (this is a very rough idea but yeah)

why is this miles more intriguing than the movie lol

ok so are they like thrown away by smth like the TVA? Like does the TVA exist at this point in time. And are we talking about a variant of Loki or tva Loki? And having peter here is actually super interesting... you could have Peter having ALL the feels from his own trauma about multiverses and argh, so good. this is really interesting. As much as I adore Nobody I truly must rep the wonderous princess Miranda. How does she react to praise? What's her favorite place to shop at? (Clothes stores, shoes, decor?) Does anyone ever doubt her being a princess?

You expect for a princess like her, she would like brands, especially the most expensive ones, like Gucci. Actually, she likes to shop at local boutiques! Especially those that aren't most well known.

Of course there's skeptics! I mean, have you heard the things she claims? A massive castle, 3 servants, and a royal knight! All of which almost nobody has seen!! All in all, it's pretty big talk for a self proclaimed princess.

For compliments, random strangers/fans, she takes it pretty well! She always tries to be pretty humble, maybe even be a bit flustered! But her ego slips in as always, after all she is a noble!

But when it's you... Well

Uncertainty - once you can't see her, or perhaps when you aren't paying close attention, her mood dampens. Did you really mean what you said? Or are you just trying to be nice? were you just trying to get on their good side?

Despair- oh horrible she is! She must be a terrible princess if you were just trying to make her happy!! How dare you!? She tries to be most nicest person in the world and yet you're scared of her! Don't you see that she loves you? She LOVES you

suspicion - let the stalking ensue! She'll stick to you like glue, and if she can't, she'll start watching you from the distance! She'll start watching you like a hawk, any nervous disposition is a point against you.
