Hi! Call me Libra (she/they) and welcome to my whump sideblog! This is just a place for me to collect all whump things and maybe share some of my own. A lot will be prompt and trope focused, but other stuff will also occur.

I'm 18+ and therefor there will be 18+ content on this blog, but probably nothing NSFW. This is also a whump blog so there will be content featuring blood, violence, injury and such.

whumpee was freezing.

an hour out in the cold courtyard with nothing at all to cover their beaten body was horrible enough. Then Whumper doused them in water before tossing them back into their tiny cell.

it took a while for the pain of it to settle, for the shivering to become just slightly better so they could move. They inched themselves closer towards their sleeping area. it was small, without blankets or even sheets. but the bed wasn't what they were crawling towards. The lamp in the corner that was commonly used to wake Whumpee up had been on for a while.

They noticed it once, in passing, that the lightbulb was incandescent. it was an old lamp, something you might see in an elderly person's home. it suited whumper's tastes. Elegant, old, and mildly tacky if you look too close.

Whumpee placed themselves near the lamp, slowly moving their hands to hover around the bulb. it was warm, extremely so. it made their fingers feel uncomfortable as they quickly thawed. it faded into a soft fuzzy feeling. they wished they could climb into the warmth, curl up and fall asleep.

but for now they were cold. and no one would come to save them.
