HST quilt: I finished up this simple quilt made of half-square triangles last week. I’d pieced the quilt top last month, it is all made from scraps from my Dusk to Dawn quilt (that was in Love Patchwork and Quilting last January). I’m really pleased with how it turned out!

Quilty details:

* 32 inches square

* Made with Kona Cotton and Carolyn Friedlander “Carkai” scraps - all from my Dusk to Dawn quilt

* Each individual block is 3.5″ square

* Straight line quilted at 1/2″ spacing

* Binding attached by machine and hand stitched around the back.

We just got in @cathkidston_ltd's latest book, the Cath Kidston Sewing Book, and Kaylee (@kayleesaurus_rawr) couldn't resist whipping up the #PocketSewingKit from it! Hmmm okay, what are your favorite and least tlc favorite ships outside of Kaider,Cresswell,Wolflet,and Jacinter? Any crack ships? -TLCSV <3 #8

I love this question bc as amazing as the characters in TLC are, the emphasis placed on the main pairings can be very very overwhelming.

My favorite pairings outside of the main 4 are: 

Winlet (Winter/Scarlet) which is brought upon by a healthy dose of may12324

Torin/Rikan or Torin/Suho or Torin/someone bc I have gained a great appreciation for Torin and you should too

Sybana (Sybil/Levana) bc this is interesting to think about

There’s a lot more non-canon ships I like but these are the top 3

OH WAIT; Honorary Mention: Kai/Thorne which is a pairing I can definitely go for and want to explore 

My least favorite pairings are:

Kiko (Kinney/Iko) which is not my cup of tea. Further reasoning here

Adri/Garan bc I honestly don’t understand how they managed to be compatible with the attitude Adri portrays?? Even in Glitches she’s terrible and Garan just goes along with it. 

Levana/Evret which is self-explanatory…

Loving this #carkai fabric designed by @carolynfriedlander for @robertkaufman fabrics that I purchased from @sewtospeak in Columbus. I think it makes a swell bow tie. Looking forward to making more!
