Carla spread out her legs, letting her arms rest against the plastic edges of the inflated boat with a sigh. "What are we supposed to do now?"

Carla didn't even look up from the book she was holding as she sensed the newcomer. "Do you need something?"
Carla & Luna || Choices
Carla sighed deeply, looking down at the dress lying on the bed in front of her. She was going to do it. She had to. Really, it seemed like the best way to get the current situation out of her mind. Plus, she hadn't gone out for a good night in quite a while. Maybe it was time. She'd sent Luna message through Pixie Mail to meet her at the Safehouse in twenty minutes. K was already there, sitting on the bed, watching Carla stare down at the dress like it was the creature from the Black Lagoon. "Oh come on," the brunette exclaimed. "It's just a dress, it's not going to bite you!"
"Shush you," Carla retorted. "I'm not scared of it, I'm just wondering if it'll get me free drinks for the night."
K shook her head. "Of course it will. I am the master of dresses, and I am telling you it will look hella sexy. Plus, we're going to Ace's, aren't we? He'll shout you drinks until you're both dead on the floor."
"Which," Carla put in, "in hindsight will be a long time, considering he's immortal and I have the alcohol tolerance of a heavy weight champion."
K laughed. "True that."
With a loud sigh, Carla finally gave in and threw the dress on. It was black (of course) with a tight fitting waist and a very short skirt. The sides of it were layered with see through lace in the shape of roses, and the back dropped down to the middle of her spine.

Carla looked up at the newcomer with a cocked eyebrow and a slight smirk. "Hello there."
Victorian Tales || Carla & Cecily
It was her own fault, really. She shouldn't have said what she had; shouldn't have doubted his powers. Of course, they'd only been joking around, but still; it was Ace, and she should have known better. He was the type who liked to show off, and show off he had. As Carla walked through the dark streets of old time London, she wondered how exactly she could get revenge on him for this. He had sent her back in time! In Marc Jacob jeans! How rude. How utterly rude of him. She was going to get him back for this. Trying her best to keep to the shadows until she could found something more suitable to walk around old London in, Carla muttered a string of curses to herself. She'd never been to London before, but she'd seen plenty of pictures; and this was nothing like anything she'd ever seen. The cobblestone streets were lined with horses pulling carriages, people walked in dresses that looked as if they were trying to hide inside a tent, and the majority of the men she had walked past were wearing top hats. Top hats.
She'd been walking for what felt like two hours when she turned down the alleyway. Stopping in her tracks, Carla took in the sight before her and cocked an eyebrow. "Are you going to kill it, or just stand there and yell at it?" she asked the figure standing over the demon.

Carla cocked her head to one side, raising a brow. "I want to ask who you are, but I'm not quite sure I want to know."
Carla stood with her hands behind her back, concealing the dagger she was very tempted to use. "Who are you, and why are you here?" she asked the newcomer, eyes narrowed in a glare.
