I put a garlic clove in in some leftover soil yesterday eve (because I can’t stop putting living things in sand) and it’s already sprouting like 12 hours later! 

My cactus seedlings that are about 3 months old are also getting their first microscopic spines and I am so proud. 

And in other positive news, I’ve pestered my flatmates so much with plant facts over time that they seemed to have stopped resisting and and started to be actively interested.

GUYS GUYS GUYS MY BEST FRIEND IS A LITTLE PUDGY GAY BOY AND I LOVE HIM A LOT BECAUSE HES THE MOST ADORABLE THING ON THE PLANET AND I ALWAYS TELL HIM HOW AMAZING HE IS- but one day some douche-corn named "Carlic" (who the fuck names their kid "Carlic" moron it sounds like garlic or some shit) was picking on him because of his small amount of precious pudge, and his orientation, and according to a bystander, my shy angel who hardly speaks to anyone but me looked him dead in the fucking eye and said "yeah, well Julia thinks I'm perfect so fuck off!" And walked away. This was two years ago and I still cry just thinking about it. And, if you're reading this Carlic, I hope you and all of your garlic bread ass beliefs fall into a muddy puddle without a change of clothes for sixteen miles fuck you garlic breath asshole bitch house Carlic
