So another fabulous year older and a little bit wiser. One thing I have learned over the last year is that sleep, is so important to weight loss. My old bed was derailing my progress. So I set out on my maiden voyage of my birthday month with a goal and a quest in mind. 1. Get a new bed mattress no matter how I pulled it off. 2. Get a new bed frame for said new bed, so I was no longer wrenching myself off the floor to get out of bed. 3. Get rid of a mattress that was a complete absolute reminder of my ex who broke several of the metal coil springs. Good riddance to bad rubbish as well. Why you may ask... simple... my bed was sabotaging my progress as well as declaring out right war on my sciatica nerve. And I was losing ground every day. Every morning I was met with excruciating pain in my lower back, that it felt as if my poor back had had my spine yanked out with a crow bar. Not fun when your about to turn 41 and you feel like your 91. Selling a few strategic items I was able to buy myself the best birthday present for myself. A new mattress, all foam, no springs and the IKEA bed frame I had been wanting for the last few years. Sometimes wishes do come true and the universe opens up when you use the law of attraction to focus and get what you need. A sleep party for one. Now I just need to use law of attraction for my weight loss. Maybe a partner in life who will love me unconditionally will be on my new items of attraction. But for now I'm grateful to wake up happy and not in severe pain and back on track.
