Daisy Johnson is the lonely commissioned artist of a mural outside of the library, spending hours every day on the colorful painting. She goes inside for a break, meeting the clerk, Jemma Simmons. They strike up a conversation and quickly become friends. When Daisy is done with the mural and is assigned to a project halfway around town, they realize how much they need each other, the part to their whole. Jemma drinks one too many Rhode Islands one night after she doesn’t see Daisy in weeks- resulting in a confession of a crush she didn’t even know she had.

y’all are really sending me a lot of angst in this find melody monday and while i do love to make aaron hotchner happy he’s no stranger to pain.

i’m writing something slightly similar to what happens in this song, hotch asks the reader to take a jump along with him. in my head this is an out of character jump, he’s met reader and just is completely enamored with them and asks them to go all in with him on a whim. but alas, reader is cautious and scared and skeptic that this is their happy ending because of their past and hotch ends up taking that leap of faith by himself🥺🥺
